What should I write about? Bloggers write about topics that interest them. Almost any topic you can imagine is being blogged about such as politics, science, children, hobbies, sports, gardening, running, walking, etc.

How do I get started? Start by visiting a free blogging site such as blogger.com, wordpress.com, tumblr.com, or livejournal.com. You will need to create an account and choose a name for your site.

How do direct traffic to my blog? Send the URL to your friends, publish the URL on your website, add the URL to posts you make on other blogs, Twitter, Facebook, etc. —anywhere where it would be appropriate.

Can I make money blogging? Yes, the most common way is to use a program like Google’s Adsense. Adsense will read the article and find ads that are relevant to it and display them next to the article. You get paid a small amount for each click on the ad.
