Here you go, Bill handed a folder with the suspects file. John Smith a.k.a. Vladof Loser-vania. Full-time loser by day. Part-time-killer by night.

Todd scanned the record.

No permanent home. No permanent address. No permanent girlfriend. Gee, youreally are a sucker

Detective Todd McKnight has been handling high-profile murder cases for years. Heworks with his partner Detective Bill Murray for the Missing Persons Department ofFBI, under Senior Detective, and Chief, Liz Mendez.

So tell me, Mr. Smith, Todd turned to the suspect and said, how do you choose

your victims?

John Smith. He was arrested several times in the past for drug possession. Ecstasy.K-Pax. And metamphenamine-shit. Now, hes one of the primary suspects for themurder of a nineteen-year old girl who was last seen at the Way Down bar where heusually conducts his business.

Youre not answering my questions, John.

Todd took out some pictures and showed the photos of the deceased to the suspect.

Michelle, 22. Blonde. Found dead two weeks ago.Loraine, 23. Brown hair. Two days afterFriday. At Way Down. Elizabeth Cross. She was just 19

About three missing person are reported everyday. Last month, the average went tofour missing person a day. Three weeks ago, some of the missing persons werefound dead, most of them more than thirty miles from their place of disappearances.

Most of the bodies were mutilated. Necks were torn apart like some kind of cultmaniac had fed the victims to dogs. Some of the victims were found with their

organs missing. Some almost shred to bits.

The Police have arrested several dozen suspects, throughout the course of thekillings. Most of them were previously arrested for drug-related offenses, like thisman, John Smith.

Judging from the initial results of the police investigation, the Las Vegas Police hardlyhad any clue about what ever happened to them. That is why the case was turnedover to the FBI.

Three days ago, Todd McKnight ran to Way Down, a small bar just an hour drivefrom the Bellagio Hotel, and asked some questions. The bartender said there wassome kind of a little blood bathat the end of the party. The girl from the picture,

Elizabeth Cross, seemed to be the star of the show. It wasnt really blood, thebartender said. Just somethingto wet the center stagewhere the girls-behaving-badly were dancing.

Todd believed him. Who wouldnt? Vegas is one crazy town. Most of the craziest

things happen here. This is Sin City. Anything could happen here. You can killsomebody and noone would ask why Its probably because what happens inVegas staysin Vegas. Not only that, it applies to everything else.

Dont we look seriousenough for you? asked Bill.

Todd went back inside the interrogation room.

Todd?Liz spoked through the microphone as a sign to recommence interrogation.

Liz pressed a red button prompting Todd to stop the interrogation.

Todd, went out of the interrogation room. Mr. Smith continued laughing frantically.

Guys,Bill asked two guards standing by. Kindly escort Mr. Smith back into his cell,please?

Jeez, started Todd.I cant believe were asking a madman for help! This man is atotal nutcase!

So, whats our next move?asked Liz.

Lets go back to the beginning, answered Todd.Go back to the crime scene andfind any more clues you can find. Check everything and any thing we may haveoverlooked.

But, this guy is the closest lead we have on them,said Eric.

We cant trust anything out of this guy,whispered Todd.

So, are you suggesting we drop this lead?Liz asked.

No. Set up a surveillance around his cell. I want to know his every move.

Yes, sir. I believe I have, and were flying to L.A. right now.

This situation had already blown out of proportion since the media have beensucking on our leaks. I dont want the FBI to look incompetent on this one, Todd. Isthat clear?

I thought she was a medical examiner but she wasnt dressed like one. The boyshave been crowding around her and showing off, making 200 push-ups.

Day One. After a staggering six hours at the G-force simulator, they put me on an F-117 test flight. The test mission was to reach an altitude of 90,000 feet and comeback alive. But, without those anti-dizziness tablets, I wouldnt have survived.

The next day, I overslept. And the higher-ups woke me up and caught me on mySpongeBob underpants.

It was 7 AM. I havent finished my sunny-side-up yet and they sent me chasing thetest plane with a masked pilot already on board.

Specifically, the last of the training missions included in the program was to

supervise the evaluation of a foreign MiG aircrafts performance and its technicalcapabilities. It was pitted against USAF fighter planes in a series of dogfights. Inshort, I will be flying with one of the Edwards Top Guns, fighting against otheryoung trainees.

As a first time co-pilot, I wasnt prepared for vertical and rollercoaster manuevers.

Ah Sir I said. I mean, Captain, please go easy on the--- Whoa!!!

The pilot turned and twisted the aircraft while trying to outrun and gun down theother fighters.

Are you doing this because its necessary? I asked.Or are you doing this becauseyoure just a littleupset for making you wait?

The plane dived several times and I almost felt my breakfast running back to mythroat.

The test combat mission lasted 65 minutes and we won.

Better luck next time, boys, the Captain said.

The wing commander was Liz, and I almost peed on my ejector seat knowing hewaswoman.

After that day, I promised myself that I wont be flying any plane with her. But, rightnow, I think Ill make an exception

US govt alarmed with biological threat in TANZANIA.1976, News Archive

Over 800 were confirmed dead and the numbers continue to rise. More than 56% ofthe population of the Namibawan village in Serengeti were affected by thismysterious disease called Karibu, which locals translate as cave demon.

It all started with a handful of residents who, people said, went home actingstrangely after going to a dark cave in the nearby jungle. They were hysterical andthey could hardly speak nor answer simple questions directly.

Within half a day, the victims showed signs of flu-like symptoms, and fever,accompanied by vomiting. They were rushed to a nearby hospital, but doctorsreported that they were baffled by the strange activity in the blood cells of the

victims and that they have never seen any virus like this before. They were kept inintensive care and were given strong antibiotics (and atropine, based on someunverified reports). However, hospital officials said the drugs given to them didntseem to work.

After four hours, the victims skin turned pale and showed signs of dementia . Theycould not recognize faces nor respond after their names were called. Their mouthsdrooled with saliva and exhibited signs of extreme dehydration and hunger. Twonurses reportedly said the victims suddenly turned wildand bit them. They becamevery aggressive that the attendants had to strap them down and inject them withsleep-inducing drugs to keep them calm, reports said.

After two days, the two nurses exhibited similar symptoms and infected their families

and friends. The spread was too quick that the local police and the local governmentcould hardly contain the epidemic.

With no cure and no idea what kind of virus infected the Namibawan victims, localofficials could only raise a general theory that what probably occurred was a rarecase of hysterical contagion, where a large mass of people exhibited hysteria basedon a local myth. And in this case, many people would shiver and say, anyonewhodisturbs the demon of the dark cave will become a demon himself.

My name is Sgt. Albert Wisley. I was ordered to form a reconteam and bring six ofmy best men to East Africa for a top-secret mission.

I had six tours in Vietnam. All of them were deploy-and-diemissions. We had toparachute ourselves to scattered targets, bypass ground defenses, and thenneutralize the enemy.

We went in with M-rifles, grenades, machine guns, and tons of ammunitions tomaintain a lead on the war. A war we didnt even start.We participated just to put

peace back into the Pacific region. And America had to do it to make sure that theother countries will treat us seriously, and with respect.

After sacrificing our comrades to Jap-looking enemy combatants, we went home witha silver star pinned to our bloody chest. A silver star for killing 20 enemy soldiers? Asilver star for coming home with two or more foreign bullets in your body?

I never knew how much the medal meant until I was at the med-camp. I was lyingwith a bandage wrapped around my head, after they stitched up my eyebrows andremoved the shrapnel stuck into it. It was one of the worst wars Ive been through.Then, the medics brought another wounded brotherin and laid him on a bed next tomine. There was blood all over him and he was holding on to his ears like hes stillhearing that ringing sound after surviving a big explosion. His name was Jones and I

heard the army nurse reading his name from his nameplate. He was crying.

Oh dear God! Please help me! Please help me! he said.

The next day, Jones scream woke me up. He said he had just turned 24 and he

couldnt wait to play soccer again after the war. But now, he wont be able to playanymore. He would need a wheeled chair just to cross the street.

Jones stepped on land mine. The surgeons had to saw off the bones below his kneesjust to save his life. They amputated him on both knees and I was grateful to findboth my feet still attached to my legs.

To a soldier, a silver star was just another piece of useless metal. But to those theyhave left behind, it was an undying symbol of his bravery.

But, this mission is different. We dont have an idea who the enemy is or what it is

capable of. We are going down the drain, and we are going down blind.

Serengeti.

A herd of gazelles and zeebras. A haven for buffalos and wildebeests

0302 HOURSOur helicopter touched down on a grassy field near the swamp. It only took ten

seconds for the chopper to land, drop our ammos, and take off.

What now, Sarge?

I took out a piece of paper from my pack and unfolded the map.

Okay. Were right here. This is the village. And this is the target site. Well travel byfoot two clicks from this point to this place right here. Through the swamp andtowards the jungle.

Whats our objective?

Our secondary objective is to take these vaccines to the remote village and makesure that everyone, infected or not, are injected with it.

Vaccines?asked Russ. I thought this was a classified mission?

Shut up Russ, Morrison interrupted.You signed up for this, too. You know thedrill: Jump now. Ask questions later.

It seems Tank doesnt recognize anyone anymore. To him, all he can see in front ofhim is a big chunk of raw meat. And all he can understand right now is this verystrong urgeand this things basic instinct: to feed.

Einstein was pinned to the ground. Tank seemed to have overpowered him.

Theres no way to escape this dilemma. Einstein saw Tanks dogtag and snatched itfrom his neck. Then, he grabbed one of Tanks grenade and took its safety pin off.

In one final moment, Einstein turned the attackers strength against him and kickedhim away. Einstein went for cover.

Tank tried to run towards him again but the grenade exploded before he could getclose.

Jerry The Tank Hewitt. He wasnt called Tank for nothing. Sgt. Wisley wanted Jerryin this team because of his exceptional bravery.

During his first mission, Jerry was part of the 10 thdivision. They were on the frontline. Unfortunately, a enemy tank found out their position and blew one of theirbunkers. Seven of Jerrys close comrades died. Reports said, Jerry went really madand ran towards the tank. The tank prepared to fire on him but Jerry dashed towardsthe big metal like hell and got to it first. In 1976 the U.S. military sent a team of highly trained combat personnels intoTanzania. The military have made a hundred of black ops but this one was the most

classified operation the government had ever made since the Roswell incident. Thesoldiers were sent in to perform recon but during the operation, the governmentsuddenly lost contact with them. The seven soldiers were declared M.I.A. (missing inaction) after two months of several attempts to perform rigorous searches wheretheir position was last recorded.

The government did not gave any further details about what might have possiblycaused the soldiers deaths but their loss was attributed to the Karibudisease thatinfected the villagers of the Namibawa town, which occurred during the same time.

The relatives of the missing soldiers pushed the senate to conduct a thoroughreinvestigation but the military officials sealed off their books and said there was

really nothing to work upon. All details of the reinvestigation was closed from themedia while the families were compensated for their terrible loss.

Most of the people who were tied to the incident were paid to keep their mouths shutor they will be permanently silenced. My colleague, Dr. Brennan, was one of the bestscientist in her field. But, she was seen talking to a newspaper reporter and they puther in a black box. They came to her apartment, drowned her on her own tub, andmade it look like suicide. Noone, including her fiance and I, believed she couldactually kill herself.

At exactly the same time, four scientists, including me, were taken from our homesand brought to a top-secret underground facility in Nevada.

Dr. Brennan was placed in charge of the lab, and I became her adviser.

The live samples consist mostly of men, Nabibawans who became carriers of the

deadly virus. They were kept inside glass partitions, each about two inch thick. Theywere rowdy and very aggressive, and we were strictly ordered not to open more thanone sample at a time for fear of an accidental outbreak in the facility.

The Namibawan carriers came to look less human everyday. Their bodies sufferedsevere dehydration and their skins turned pale and scaly. They looked like scathedzombies, like malnourished undead.

They acted more like animals, too. They preferred to eat only meat and rejectedvegetables from the food given to them. They were given water but they do notdrink. Each day they clamor while waiting to be fed. And as meat was brought in theadjacent room, they stick their mouths and tongues to the small holes on the glassas if they were tracking the scent of the distant food. They consume meat more than

three times that of what an average human can ingest, and everyday, they crave foreven more.

Gen. Thomas Fuller is head of the secret project. And we had only one theory aboutwhat he and the officials wanted from us and the Namibawans: they wanted toextract the virus from their blood and reproduce a cultured version that could be aviable and potent biological weapon, an item that would definitely stir the minds ofthe buyers in the black market.

One day, Fuller came to the lab, expecting for results. And just as he hate to do thejob, our colleague, Dr. Issac Vern, told Fuller that he wanted out.
