Using the productMicroSD memory cardEnsurethattheproductisturnedoffbeforeinsertingthememorycard.Ifthememorycardisremovedorinsertedwhiletheproductisturnedon,thestoreddatamaybelostortheproductmaymalfunction.

Removetheprotectivefilmfrom the camera lensRemovetheprotectivefilmfromthefrontcameralensbeforeinstallingandusingtheproduct.

Mounting/Removing the Front CameraThefrontcameracanbemountedorremovedby simultaneously pressing the buttons on bothsidesofthecradleatthesametime.Whenconnectingtheproductandthecradle,firstcombinethegrooveatthebottomofthecradlewiththeproduct,andthencompletelyassembletheproductandthecradle.Removingthefrontcameraalsodisablestherearcamera(optional).

Be sure to install and remove the frontandrearcamera(optional)whiletheproductisturnedoff.Thestoredmedia may be lost or the product may malfunction.

Turning the product onDriving mode starts when the vehicle is started,andtheproductandtheACE3.0appcanbeconnected.

Formoreinformation,refertotheinstruction manual provided with the vehicle.

Turning the product on/off manually

■ Whentheengineisrunning,orwhenyouaregettingofthevehicle,brieflypressthepowerbuttontoturnontheproduct.

■ Pressandholdthepowerbuttonfor3 secondstoturnofftheproduct.

Resetting the productPress and hold both the power ( ) button and the record ( ) button together on the topoftheproducttofactoryresettheproduct.

Using the product featuresACE3.0recordsvideoswhilethevehicleisinoperation.Whenyoustartthevehicleandstartdriving,the product can check any damage caused by accidentsthatoccurredinthefrontandrear(rearcameraisoptional)areasofthevehiclewhileitwasindrivingmodeandfromanyaccidents that occurred while the vehicle was parkedandusingparkingmode.

Driving modeWhenyoustartthevehicle,thestatusLEDwill turn on with a voice prompt and driving modewillstart.Drivingrecording:Whiledriving,videosarerecorded in 1 minute segments and stored in the"DRIVING"folder.Incidentrecording:Whenanimpacttothevehicleisdetected,thevideorecordfrom10 secondsbeforetheincidentto50secondsaftertheincidentisstoredinthe"INCIDENT"folder.

• You can choose between the two drivingmodes.

• Besuretocheckifthelawsandregulationsofthecountryallowcontinuous video recording in driving mode.

Parking modeWhentheengineisturnedoffandthesettimefortheproduct'sexitphaseelapses,theproduct automatically switches to the parking mode.Whenanimpactisdetectedwhileparking,avideorecordfrom10secondsbeforetheimpactto20secondsaftertheimpactissavedinthe"PARKING"folder.*Exitphasereferstotheassumedamountoftimeforthedrivertoleavethevehicleaftertheengineisturnedoff.Videosofimpactsrecordedwithinthistimeframedonotadduptothenumberofincidentswhileparked,whichisreportedbytheproductortheACE3.0App.**Videosofimpactsthatarerecordedduringentry phase do not add up to the number ofincidentswhileparked,sincethedriveris considered to be inside the vehicle in the momentofrecording.

• Besuretoregularlycheckifthelawsandregulationsofthecountryallowusingtheparkingmode.

• IftheACE3.0appandtheproductareconnectedduringtheexitphase,theparkingmodewillnotbeinitiated as the driver is considered tobestayinginsidethevehicle.

Manual recording (REC)You can manually record/take videos and pictures.Press the record ( )buttononthefrontcamera to start recording and save it in the "SNAPSHOT"folder.

■ Video:From10secondsbeforepressingthebuttonto50secondsafterpressingthebutton,total1minute

Select between video or picture in ACE3.0app> Settings > Recording settings.

HDR(High Dynamic Range)YoucanrecordthevideowiththefrontcamerainhighqualitybysettingtheHDR(HighDynamicRange)feature.TheHDRfeatureprovidesaclearscreenthatlooksjustlikeyouwereseeingitwithyourowneyesbyextendingvideo'scontrastratio,renderingtheobjectsonthevideomoredistinguishable.

Night VisionWiththeSuperNightVisionfeature,youcanrecord videos that are much brighter than videosrecordedwithoutthisfeature.Thisfeatureisenabledbyreal-timeimagesignalprocessing (ISP) that improves the brightness ofvideosrecordedwhileparkedatnight.

GPSTheGPSfeatureisnotapprovedinsomecountriesforlegalreasons,sothefeaturemay be restricted or unavailable in certain countries.Checkthelawsandregulationsofyourcountrybeforeusingtheproductforthefirsttime.

Vehicle locationYoucanfindyourparkedvehicleeasilybyusingtheACE3.0app.Whentheproductswitches to parking mode while connected totheACE3.0app,thepicturesandvideostakenbythefrontandrearcamera(optional)aresavedintheACE3.0app,andthelocationofthevehicleisdisplayedonadigitalmap(mayvaryaccordingtonationallaw).Tousethisfeature,theGPSsignaloftheproduct must be activated when switching to theparkingmode.Thisfeatureallowsyoutofindyourvehicleintheparkinglotusingthepicturestakenbythefrontandrearcamera,orlocateyourvehicleinthemidstofabusycityusingthedigitalmap.Youcanalsostartthefeaturebypressingtheupdatebuttonontheproduct.

Picturestakenbythefrontandrearcamera (optional) and the location on themap(iftheGPSfeatureisturnedon)willbesavedintheACE3.0appuntilyouusethisfeatureagain.

Using voice recognitionYoucanusevoicerecognitiontoperform9 commands in 5 languages(English,German,Korean,Chinese,Japanese).

• The voice recognition can be turned onoroffintheACE3.0app> Settings > System Settings > Voice recognition.

• Referto"Voicerecognitioncommands"onpage12formoreinformation.

Using the ACE 3.0 appYoucanusetheACE3.0apponyoursmartphone to play and manage recorded videosandusetheproduct'svariousfeatures.Download and install the ACE 3.0appfromtheGooglePlayStoreorAppleAppStore.

Do not operate the product while driving.Distractionwhiledrivingmaycauseaccidentsandresultininjuryordeath.

Turnyoursmartphone'sBluetoothonandconnect the product to your smartphone by followingtheACE3.0app'sinstructions.

You can only connect one smartphone totheproduct.Iftheproductdoesnotconnecttoyoursmartphone,checkifthe product is already connected with anothersmartphone.

Ifyouusethepowersavingmodeoncertainsmartphones,theconnectionbetweentheproductandthesmartphonemaybelost.Aftertheproductandyoursmartphoneareconnected,thelanguagesetonthesmartphonewillbeappliedtotheACE3.0app.The connection between the product and the smartphone is maintained while operating theproductusingtheACE3.0app.Whenthereisanewversionofthefirmware,theACE3.0appwillimmediatelynotifyyouoftheupdate.

• Follow the instructions in the ACE3.0appbeforeupdatingthefirmware.

• Updatingthefirmwaremayautomaticallyformatthememorycard.Backupthedatastoredonthememorycardbeforeupdating.

• The customized settings are maintainedevenafterthefirmwareupdate.

SettingsOnthemainscreenoftheACE3.0app,touch Blackbox Settings.Eachfeatureoftheproduct can be set and used according to the user'sneedorpreference.

IntheACE3.0app,selectSettings> System Settings > Reset settings to delete all settings and saved data on theproduct.

Camera settings ■ Audio Recording:Turnvoicerecordingonoroff.

■ Rec Button Action:Selecteithervideoorpicture when the recording ( ) button is pushed.

■ HDR:TurnHDRonoroff. ■ Night Vision:TurnNightVisiononoroff. ■ Channel setting:Selecteither1chor2chasthedesiredsetting.

Iftheproductneedstobeformattedwhenchangingchannelsettings,aformatnotificationpop-upwindowwillbedisplayed.TouchOK to delete all storeddata.

■ Brightness-Front:Selectthedesiredbrightness.

■ Brightness-Rear:Selectthedesiredbrightness.

Recording settings

Driving mode ■ Driving mode:SelecteitherContinuous recording or G-Sensor only to be used in Drivingmode.

When changing the mode to Incident recordingonly,thememorycanbeformattedaccordingtothesetmemorypartition.

■ G-Sensor Sensitivity:Selectthedesireddrivingincidentsensitivity.

■ Enter phase:Setthetimeduringwhichvibrations detected while getting into the vehiclearenotrecognizedasevents.

■ Exit phase:Setthetimeperiodduringwhich vibrations that are detected when gettingoutofthevehiclearenotrecognizedasevents.

Parking mode ■ Parking Mode:SelectDisable when not usingparkingmode.

■ G-Sensor Sensitivity:Selectthedesiredparkingincidentsensitivity.

Volume settings ■ Beep:Settheproduct'sdefaultvolume. ■ Voice guidance:Setthevolumeforvoiceguidance.

■ Video:Setthevideoplaybackvolume.

Viewing the saved dataChecking videos/picturesAll recorded media data are saved in each folderonthememorycard.Youcanmovethemediadatafromthememory card to your computer or copy it to theACE3.0app.Picture/videodataissavedwithafilenameof"Date_Time_Type_Front/Back.File Format".
