The BnS will not work, period, if the battery is dead

A. Charge the battery for at least one hour. It takes four hours to fully charge the battery.

B. Check the battery charger. They will go bad!

C. Go to speech parameters (chd ar) and make sure that it is set for KEY ECHO (Pressing the spacebar)

You go to read a word, and it does not read the word, but rather the beginning of the line...

1. Go to the status menu: chd st2. Go to Cursor tracking: c3. Make sure cursor tracking is turned on: spacebar4. Chd e exits the status menu

It may mean your brl translator is turned off

You can set your brl translator in the status menu or the parameter menu

We choose the parameter menu - it's easier1. Parameter menu: chd p2. t for translator3. Y to turn it on or n to turn it off4. You do not have to exit the parameter menu

2. Unplug the cables from the BnS and the printer

3. Turn on the BnS and the printer

4. Plug in the cable back into the BnS and the printer

5. Try printing again
