We had a visiting performance “Sharing Culture” yesterday and our visiting performer was Gwenda Stanley. By all accounts, the children thoroughly enjoyed the educational experience and it was pleasing to see the show was extremely well supported. Today, we had athletes represent the Toormina District at the Mid North Coast Cross Country. I’m sure all athletes ran well with results to be published next week. School photos will be taken on Tuesday. Please ensure your child is in full school uniform, including black shoes. Sibling envelopes are available from the front office. Instructional rounds continue next week with each stage conducting professional readings based around the quality teaching framework and will then apply principles of that framework to lesson observations in order to provide feedback to each other. This important professional learning enables our staff to collaborate on a regular basis as well as ensuring quality teaching occurs across our school. On Wednesday 1 st June, I meet with our parent validation team to discuss our milestones and progress towards achieving our strategic directions. I will be able to share with you in next week’s newsletter how we are progressing as a school. We also have the coffee van on site Wednesday morning from 8.00am until 9.00am. Parents are more than welcome to come and have a free coffee and have a conversation. All staff will be available to chat with you on the day. Hope to see you here! The Musicale is approaching quickly! Tickets are available from Toormina High School. It would be great to see you all there! Children in Years 3 to 6 will have the opportunity to watch a matinee performance on Thursday 23 rd June. Notes and money are to be returned to the front office. Enjoy the weekend. Medication at School If your child requires any medication at school please call by the school front office to discuss your child’s requirements. Panadol is not administered by our staff unless prescribed by a doctor for a health condition. All medication at school must be labelled from the pharmacy with the child’s name and dosage.
