To further enhance and support our customer base with the best technical solutions, we have added several key personnel to the JEM Technical Engineering and Applications teams in the last 15 months. These individuals have a collective 125 years of mobile fluid power experience and specific knowledge and expertise with cartridge valves, sectional valves and mobile electronics. Our commitment to these staffing additions is a direct response to our growing business and continued customer support as the technology leader for valve solutions in the upper Midwest, Florida and the Canadian provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta. Last year we manufactured over 140,000 manifolds while maintaining our lead-times and achieving an on-time delivery performance of 97%. This year JEM Technical is investing in additional capacity and machinery to further enhance our manufacturing capabilities and to meet our future customer growth. Working at CEC Corporation and Parker Hannifin, Doug’s expertise is with cartridge valves, manufacturing and engineering team leadership. Doug leads the JEM Technical Engineering staff of 12 new product development, design, and manufacturing engineers. Bruce Heaney APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST Bruce has over 35 years of mobile systems expertise and a high level of hydraulic circuit and mobile systems expertise. Bruce has been with JEM since November, 2013 and is our lead circuit and applications specialist. Bruce comes to us from Force America. Tim Neidert SALES APPLICATIONS ENGINEER Tim’s expertise is with full hydraulic systems, Tier IV, and proportional stack and cartridge valves. He has over 20 years of Engineering and Applications experience at Sauer Danfoss, Parker Hannifin and Argo Hytos. Tim also has design expertise in spool and cartridge valves. Tim’s role is in full systems and cartridge valve support for our customers. Tim Sperry SENIOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER Tim has been with JEM for 25 years and is the inventor of many of the JEM custom designed valves. He will continue in his role of developing unique and cost saving solutions that can be incorporated into JEM’s custom manifold assemblies. Tim’s expertise and experience is a solid asset for our customer base in providing unique and economical solutions. Dave Damminga PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND TEST MANAGER Dave comes to us from Eaton where he was the lead cartridge valve design engineer and applications support contact for the past six years. Dave will support internal JEM valve designs as well as provide Engineering process control and expertise in testing and overall sales support. He will also support customer and internal test needs. Andrew DeRung ELECTRONICS APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST With over ten years of experience and most recently at Eaton, Andrew is our expert in matching mobile electronic systems with our valve offerings. Andrew has a high level of mobile electronics experience and understands hydraulics and complete electrohydraulic system needs. He is an expert in Codesys code and leads our Electronics Division.
