Support with filtration capacity

Colback Plus is a pleatable medium with a built-in filtration capacity layer for use as a carrier in the manufacturing of cabin air, room air, HVAC and Industrial air filters. In Colback Plus, the well-known performance characteristics of Colback support media – ensuring low pressure drop and high stiffness – are combined with a unique fine fiber technology leading to a filtration product with outstanding performance characteristics, creating new capabilities for manufacturing and added value to customers.

Colback® Plus

Cabin air filtrationIn cabin air combi filters, Colback Plus is suitable as the first layer (support layer) due to the combination of high permeability, high dust holding capacity, extremely good pleatability and thermal stability.

Room air, HVAC and Industrial air filtersColback Plus can serve as stand-alone prefilter or as a meltblown or nano fiber carrier layer increasing the progressive structure and dust holding capacity of pleatable media in panel filters. Colback Plus as support layer improves the stiffness of pocket filters – this reduces pressure drop and increases the filter lifetime.
