YMcaFor the first time this fall, the Keno-

sha YMCA is offering ballroom

dancing for participants of all ages.

Senior ballroom for older active

adults will be offered on Tuesday

mornings for $20 for members and

$30 for the general public. Youth

and adult ballroom will be offered

Tuesday evenings for $35 for mem-

bers and $60 for the general public.

YMcaThe Kenosha YMCA dance pro-

gram has a variety of programs for

dancers of all ages and skill levels.

Introductory dance classes include

creative movement and rhythms/

tumbling/ballet on Wednesday

evenings and Saturday mornings.

Beginning dance classes include

jazz/ballet/tap I, hip hop, and pom/

cheer. Intermediate dance classes

include jazz/ballet/tap II and III, hip

hop, and pom/cheer. Registration

fee is $35 for members and $60 for

9 at St. Mary’s Bell Hall from 12-6

Flag to offer boys and girls ages 7-

14 the chance to play flag football in

YMcaThis fall, the Kenosha YMCA is

offering Men’s Flag Football on

Sunday mornings. All leagues are

SportS perFormance campA seven-week Sports Performance Training Camp will be held on Saturday from Jan. 7 to Feb. 18 at the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha (1330 52nd St.). It is designed for athletes in third grade through high school who wish to gain a competitive advantage over their peers by increasing their speed and agility. The cost is $145 per athlete.

SportS perFormance clinicA two-day Sports Performance Clinic will be held on Monday, Dec. 26, and Thursday, Dec. 29, at the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha (1330 52nd St.). inDoor youth SoccerSession II of the Sports 21 Youth Soccer League will run from Jan. 5 to Feb. 9 at the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha. Leagues are divided into U4, U5/U6, U7/U8, U9/U10, U11/U12 and U13/U14. The primary playing day is Friday for U4, U5/U6 and U7/U8; Thursday for U9/U10 and U11/U12; and Saturday for U13/U14. Play-

ers should wear shin guards, soccer socks and cleats or tennis shoes. The cost is $5 for returning players and $55 for new players. For more information and a registration form, see the Featured Events section of this publication (pages 27-30).

3 on 3 tournamentThe Boys & Girls Club is hosting a 3-on-3 basketball tournament Dec. 27-29 for kids in grades 1-12. Games will begin at 5:15 p.m. and will end no later than 9 p.m. each day. Cost is $10 per player for members and $15 per player for non-members. Each participant will receive a t-shirt and prizes will be given to the winners of each division. Contests for the night include Free Throw, Around the World and Lightning. The deadline to register is Thursday, Dec. 22. The U10 Fusion FC and the U10 Storm FC played an intense youth soccer match at the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha Dec. 10. The contest ended in a 6-6 tie. The U10 Fusion led 6-4 with six minutes left when the Storm surged back to knot the game with two minutes remaining. Each team had great opportunities in the final 120 seconds of the game, but was unable to capi-talize and find a game winner.

Vincent Chiappetta notched a hat trick for the U10 Ice Dragons in a 9-1 thumping of U10 Mexico. Davin Cummings put three in the back of the net for U10 UFC Black in a 12-4 conquest of U10 Express FC.
