I am a fit and healthy Bcom Honours Graduate (Industrial Psychology) currently in the
end stages of a Master Degree with the University of Johannesburg (South Africa). I
have also recently participated in an International European Work and Organisational
Psychology Master’s Program at the University of Valencia (Spain), which ended July
2014. I am currently in an I-O Psychology intern position at AngloGold Ashanti,
Carletonville, Gauteng.
During my 15 months of employment at Sanlam Sky, I had worked as a Death Claims
admin assistant. This role required both sensitivity towards clients as well as high
levels of efficiency. Later, within the same HR department, I worked as an HR assistant
with a direct report to HR manager. This position included tasks spanning over many
HR activities including, recruitment, interviews, grievances, disciplinary procedures
and performance management. Later I had the privilege of working as a research intern
at Sentis, a consultancy in Perth Australia, where my research competencies were
tested, nurtured and grown in strength. This role allowed me to realise the importance
of well executed research and it's translation into the training environment.
The Master’s program now complete, and with some work experience, I am eager to
encounter the next stage of my career, that is the structured I-O psychology internship
at the AngloGold Ashanti.
Yours faithfully
