FAREWELL Bremer Bay Primary staff and students would like to thank Safia for her contribution to our school as a Prac Teacher. We will miss her bright, bubbly personality at school and wish her all the best for the rest of her studies. Remember to come back and visit Safia! We would also like to farewell the Pursey family and thank them for their contribution to our school community. We wish Ava and Joe all the very best at their new school and hope we see them back visiting Bremer Bay in the future. The Whiteman family is also leaving to go on a trip around Australia in their bus. We look forward to hearing from Calleigh, Lucas and Dean about their travels and hope that they all have a wonderful time exploring Australia.
Principal Report—Term 2 Week 9
Hello Parents and Carers
As we come to the end of the term, and last newsletter, we have some thank
yous and farewells to express.
Firstly, a huge thank you to Safia Barre. She has been working tirelessly in
the Senior Room this term. The students and staff have appreciated her
professionalism, positive attitude and superb lessons. We wish her the best of luck in finishing her
last semester of her Masters in Education and look forward to seeing her excel as a teacher for
many years to come.
To the Whiteman family who are off on a glorious travelling life
around Australia we wish you well. The students will be missed and
we look forward to keeping in touch and tracking you around our
great country!
To the Pursey family, we thank you for all your contributions to
our school. In particular to Marisa who has been active on both
P&C and School Council for many years we thank you for the
countless hours you’ve dedicated to our school to improve the
education for all our students. We wish you all well with your
move to Albany and hope you come back for visits!
I would like to say another big thank you to all the teachers in our network for meeting, assessing,
planning and teaching on visiting school days. A huge amount of effort goes into the Literacy and
Numeracy lessons and for all the students who are taught by teachers from other schools, we
thank you!
Next week reports will be sent home. As mentioned at the assembly, early next term a survey will
be sent. Please take the time to read your child/ren’s report so you can complete the survey.
Looking forward to term 3, we have 5/6 Netball Carnival, River to Bay and Interschool Athletics in
the latter part of the term. Please refer to the attached term planner for dates. Staff will begin
the term on 22nd July with a School Development Day (no students to attend this day). We will be
completing our Day 3 of PBS training.
I hope you all enjoy the upcoming holidays and, as always, stay safe for a happy return on Tuesday
23rd July.
