VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS

The Voluntary Contribution is now due.

The amount payable is $60.00 per first and second child in a family, $40.00 for each

additional child. Payments can be sent into the school office or paid

SCHOOL BANKING School Banking is underway for 2018, happening every Tuesday in the school library between 8.30am and 8.50am. If you would like to start school banking you are welcome to see the coordinators Marisa or Danae on Tuesdays in the library or contact them with any questions.

INTERM SWIMMING LESSONS

Interm Swimming lessons will be held next week from Monday 25 February to Friday 1 March. Students will be transported by bus to John Cove to attend the two lessons held each day. Students are encouraged to wear a wetsuit or rash shirt and wear a school uniform top whilst out of the water. They should also provide their own drink bottle and snacks to take to the beach. Students will have lunch when they return to school. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to do shark watch.

SENIOR CLASS ASSEMBLY

The Senior Class will host an assembly on Thursday 7 March at 9.00am in the Library. Merit certificates will be awarded to our outstanding students. Everyone is welcome to come along and join us.

STUDENT UPDATE FORMS

The student update forms were due back on 14 February. Please return the forms as soon as possible to ensure that the school holds the most up to date information for your child.

Principal Report

Hello Parents and School Community,

The next assembly is in week 5, Thursday 7 March and

will be hosted by the Senior Room. The assemblies are

held in our school Library beginning at 9am. We always

like to have parents at the assembly, please come along

and celebrate our successes with us!

The P&C will be holding their AGM on Tuesday 26 February, followed by a general meeting. If you are new to our school

community please consider volunteering with our P&C.

Swimming lessons are next week, 25 February—1 March.

Please ensure all permission slips and money is given to the

office. The parent shark watch roster will be on Class Dojo and

sent to volunteering parents. Please label all your child’s belongings for

ease of identification, pack their swimming gear in a large bag with a carry handle and

preferably a zip.

Jasmine Porteous has accepted a position at West

Kambalda Primary School, for 2019 commencing on

the 5 March. We congratulate Jasmine and wish her

well in her new position. We are happy to

congratulate Miranda Ball who will continue in the

Junior Room until the end of term 2.

Monday 4th March is Labour Day public holiday, students and teachers do not attend on

this day.

You should receive your school Photo Order Envelopes approximately two weeks prior to photo day.

Please review the photo packages available and complete order form on reverse of envelope.

If paying by cash, please ensure that exact amount is enclosed as no change can be given.

Each student will need to bring their completed personalised Photo Order Envelope on photo day,

even if no photos are being purchased.

If you are interested in Sibling Photos, please collect Sibling Order Envelopes from the school office.

Sibling Photo Order Envelopes MUST BE RETURNED to the school office prior to photo day.
