PRODUCTION SUBSIDY FOR PUBLICATION OF NORWEGIAN PICTURE BOOKS FOR
CHILDREN Foreign publishers, including publishers in the Nordic region, can apply for production subsidies for the publication of Norwegian picture books for children. The publication must uphold the same production standard as the Norwegian publication, and the publisher must simultaneously apply for a translation subsidy from NORLA, Norwegian Literature Abroad.

It is possible to apply for a production subsidy from NORLA for up to NOK 8000.
The application deadlines for production subsidies are the same as for the translation subsidies: Non-fiction picture books: 1.2., 1.6. and 1.10.Fiction picture books: 1.4,. 1.8. and 15.11.
