It’s that time of year! Spring is gradually

making its way through the cold and dark,

flowers are beginning to bloom, and THE

ANNUAL BRIARWOOD CHURCH PICNIC IS

THIS SUNDAY, April 29 from 3:00–7:00 p.m.!

Bring your family and friends to Perimeter

Drive at the church gym on Sunday and enjoy

a laid-back afternoon and evening of games

for the kids, face-painting, cotton candy and

live music from some of our very own talented Briarwood members. The

forecast is for a beautiful day, and everyone will enjoy some wonderful time

outdoors after all the rainy Sundays we have had lately. The picnic will be

topped off at 6:00 p.m. with dinner in the Fellowship Hall, featuring Full

Moon barbeque pork and chicken sandwiches. The cost is $7 per person,

with a maximum of $25 per family.

Over the years, the picnic has been a special time for our church family to

enjoy each other’s company while taking a moment to relax and step away

from all of the deadlines and approaching tests and exams at the end of the

school year. It is also a great way to meet members you haven’t yet met,

as well as introduce your friends and family to your Briarwood family. So

consider those you’d like to invite, and join us this Sunday afternoon at 3:00

p.m. to celebrate the Lord’s creation of recreation as a way to rest!
