DAY 2 We travel throughHolland into Germany pausingfor lunch in the Rhine Valleybefore arriving in Karlsruhe atour overnight hotel theLeonardo. Dinner in the hotel.

DAY 3 After breakfast wecontinue via Munich andInnsbruck to the Brenner Pass and on into Italy and our resort of FaiDella Paganella. Dinner in the hotel

DAY 4 A day at leisure to simply relax and enjoy the mountain scenery orjoin Fausto, the hotel owner, for a guided walk of the village andsurrounding countryside, a picnic lunch with wine is included.

DAY 5 Today we enjoy a scenic drive through the Western Dolomites toMerano, a lovely historic spa town.We return via the Adige valley wineroute and Lake Caldaro. Dinner in the hotel

DAY 6 We enjoy a full day tour of the fabulous Brenta Dolomites. Drivingup the Val di Sole, we follow the scenic valley and then over the pass atMadonna di Campiglio, 'The Pearl of the Dolomites' before passing LakeTrenno on our return to Paganella. Dinner in the hotel

DAY 7 For todays excursion we head south out of the mountains to LakeGarda and the popular resort of Riva Del Garda. Dinner in the hotel.

DAY 8 We leave our hosts in the Dolomites for the return journeythrough northern Italy and Austria into Germany and our overnight stay inKarlsruhe. Dinner in the Hotel

DAY 9 We leave Karlsruhe and continue through Northern Germany onour way to Rotterdam and the overnight ferry to Hull.

DAY 10 Hull to Cumbria, arriving home early afternoon

DAY 3 Stuttgart to Lindau onthe shores of Lake Constance,then into Austria and ourovernight hotel the Bon Alpina at Igls. Dinner in the hotel.

DAY 4 Our final leg of the journey as we head over the Brenner Passpast Bolzano and Trento towards Venice and then Lido Di Jesolo, arrivingat the Hotel Le Soleil late afternoon. Dinner in the hotel.

DAY 5 A day at leisure to explore the resort.

DAY 6 Morning visit to Treviso, full of elegant piazza’s, cobbled streets,and Italian charm. In the afternoon we head to Bassano del Grappa apretty medieval town on the Brenta River. Dinner in the hotel tonight.

DAY 7 Today we head to Padua. The old town is a maze of streets andstylish cafes, with many squares. We have time at leisure for lunchbefore returning to Lido di Jesolo mid afternoon. Dinner in the hotel.

DAY 8 A short coach drive to Punta Sabbioni where we board a boat forthe 45 minute journey across the lagoon to Venice. Admire the RialtoBridge, St. Mark's Square, bustling piazzas and of course, the canals.Dinner on our return to the hotel.

DAY 9 We leave our hosts and return back through Northern Italy toInnsbruck and an overnight stay at the Bon Alpina Hotel Igls.

DAY 2 Rotterdam viaOsnabruck to Bremen, we havea guided tour of this Hanseaticcity, prior to some free time.Overnight stay in the Bremenarea. Dinner in the hotel.

DAY 3 We continue east today,passing Hamburg and Rostockto our hotel the 4 star WyndhamStralsund. Dinner in the hotel.

DAY 4 We head north towardsthe island of Rügen, we stop inProra, and a visit to theKulturKunststatt Prora“ museumgiving you an insight to thearea. We then drive to theGranitz hunting lodge , surrounded by the enchanted forest. We walkthrough the forest to the “Jagdschloss“ steam train towards Putbus. Wehave a short guided tour through Putbus. Dinner tonight will be served ina local restaurant in Putbus.

DAY 5 Today we experience the Baltic Coast’s little gem in the form ofthe Hiddensee island. We visit Kloster via ferry and horse drawn carriage.Lunch in a traditional local restaurant. Dinner in the hotel.

DAY 6 Our visit today is the Island of Usedom shared by both Germanyand Poland. After the visit we continue along the island to the town ofAhlbeck with its famous pier and stunning sandy beach before makingour way back home, ready to enjoy dinner at the hotel.

DAY 7 Stralsund to Hamburg, pearl of the north, we have a guided tourto show you the sights of this beautiful maritime city. Dinner andovernight stay in the Hamburg area.

DAY 8 Hamburg to Rotterdam and the overnight sailing to Hull.

DAY 9 Hull to Cumbria, arriving home mid afternoon.

DAY 3 After breakfast today wedelve deep into the BlackForest, stopping atOberwolfach, famous for itsSilver Mine. Our next visit is tothe impressive TribergWaterfalls. We then visit theWorlds Largest CuckooClock.Dinner on our return tothe hotel.

DAY 4 We head south to the beautiful town of Lahr. A morning guidedtour and an insight into how over the last 10 years Lahr has becomeknown internationally as the home of the Chrysanthemum through itsannual flower festival. Millions of chrysanthemums have been plantedthroughout the town creating beautiful flower masterpieces wherever you go. Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 5 Today we visit Titisee, we include a boat trip to see the beautifulshoreline. Then we are treated to a demonstration on how to bake theworld famous Black Forest Gateau. In the afternoon we visit the open-airKlausenhof Farming Museum. The farm dates back to 1424 and is oneof the oldest houses in the Black Forest. Dinner in the hotel.

DAY 6 We leave our hosts at the Ochsen hotel and head north, we stopfor lunch and sightseeing in Heidelberg, a town on the Neckar River. We leave early afternoon for the remainder of our journey to Cologne and an overnight stay, dinner in the hotel.

DAY 7 Some free time in Cologne this morning before we head intoHolland and Rotterdam for the overnight sailing to Hull.

Wereturn to Trier for dinner at the Mercure.

DAY 4 We spend the day in Germanys oldest city Trier, the market is setamidst the stunning backdrop of Trier Cathedral, with over 100beautifully decorated chalets selling delightful Christmas decorations,wooden toys, candles, ceramics and engraved glassware. Irish CountryMusicWeekend -BlackpoolITINERARYDAY 1 A mid morning departurefrom Cumbria as we head toBlackpool and our hotel, the 4 star Hilton. Dinner in the hotel is followedby tonight’s music and dancing in the ballroom, which begins with ShaunMichael whose crystal clear and mellow voice has been entertaining fansfor over 25 years, although described as a balladeer, Shaun’s repertoireencompasses so much more and includes many old Irish, Country andSixties favourites, next up is Curtis Magee, recognised as one of Irelandsbest solo entertainers, Curtis is able to take you through the musicalgenerations, Irish ballads, country, gospel songs, sing-a longs and musicof the 50’s and 60’s are all produced in his own unique and engagingstyle. The evening is finished off by Barry Doyle and his band, another wellknown name in the Irish Music Scene, “Putting the Craic into Country”.

DAY 2 A leisurely breakfast and we then head off on a morning mysterytour before returning to Blackpool early afternoon. DurhamChristmasMarket &Beamish ITINERARYDAY 1 We leave Cumbria in themorning and head to Richmondfor coffee before spending theafternoon in Darlington, with itsrange of independent stylishshops alongside high streetfavourites and the VictorianMarket Hall. DAY 2 Full day visit to the award winning Durham Christmas Festival, setin and around the world heritage site of the cathedral and the castle.Over 160 stalls offer you the chance to find that ‘something different’ forChristmas. Entertainment takes place throughout the city, includingChristmas carols in the cathedral. We return to Redworth Hall for dinner.

DAY 3 We leave our hosts at Redworth Hall and travel to the BeamishOpen Air Museum, where the town and pit village take on a true festivefeel with period decorations from the early 1900’s. We return toCumbria late afternoon.

DAY 2 After a leisurely breakfast we make our way south to Longleat,where you can enjoy animal encounters from the comfort of our coach on a drive through the famous Safari Park. Then see Longleat House, oneof the country's finest examples of Elizabethan architecture, dressed forChristmas. To top it all off, experience the Festival of Light as Longleatstages Europe’s largest ever display of giant Chinese lanternstransforming the estate into a glowing winter wonderland, beautiful bydaylight but incredible after dark. The display will cover more than 30acres and feature a variety of traditional Chinese designs includingdragons and pagodas alongside giant recreations of some of the LongleatSafari Park’s famous animals. Peebles,Edinburgh & The ScottishBorders RailwayITINERARYDAY 1 We leave Cumbria andhead to Hexham, time at leisurebefore we have the scenic drivethrough Kielder Forest toHawick. From here we head toPeebles and our hotel, thePeebles Hydro. A welcome drinkis served prior to dinner followedby musical entertainment.

DAY 2 We spend the morning in the Royal Burgh of Peebles a markettown that straddles the river Tweed. In the afternoon we have an includedvisit to the mysterious Rosslyn Chapel. A new state-of-the-art visitorcentre tells the Chapel’s story from its 15th century origins, through theReformation, to the Da Vinci Code. Dinner at the Peebles Hydro.

DAY 3 Following breakfast today we head to Tweedbank and join theScottish Borders Railway, in September 2015 passenger services ran forthe first time since 1969 on part of the old Waverley Line that linkedEdinburgh and Carlisle. Over 30 miles of track were restored at a cost ofover £350m, travel through fabulous countryside and newly built stationson our way to Edinburgh. Time at leisure, before joining the train for thereturn to Tweedbank. Dinner and entertainment in the hotel.

DAY 4 A tour of the Scottish Borders towns today, an area famed for itsassociation with the textile industry. We visit Melrose, with its ruinedAbbey, Picturesque Kelso with its spacious market square and fivearched bridge over the River Tweed and Jedburgh a strategic bordertown with a turbulent past. Final dinner at the Peebles Hydro.

DAY 5 After a leisurely breakfast we head to Hawick, the largest of theBorder Towns. We then travel via St Marys Loch and the Grey Mare’s Tailto Moffat and home to Cumbria, arriving back late afternoon.

Oban & theIsle of MullITINERARYDAY 1 A morning departurefrom Cumbria as we head northvia Moffat and Glasgow to LochLomond, time at leisure forlunch before continuing pastTyndrum and the North End ofLoch Awe on our way to Obanand the Columba hotel . Dinnerin the hotel tonight.

DAY 2 Today we travel by ferryfrom Oban to the magical Isle ofMull, renowned for its richhistory, wildlife and beautiful scenery. We head across the island pastDuart Castle to the most westerly point, Fionnphort, here we cross asfoot passengers to the enchanting Isle of Iona and its famous Abbey,resting place of over 100 Scottish kings and the birthplace of Christianitywithin Britain. After time at leisure we return to Mull and then back viathe ferry to Oban and dinner at the Columba.

DAY 3 This morning we head north along the shoreline of Loch Linnhe to Fort William, after some free time we then continue to NeptunesStaircase and see the boats navigating the 8 lochs of the Caledoniancanal, continuing along the side of the canal we head to Gairlochry andmake a stop off at the Commando monument in Spean Bridge wherethousands of elite Commandos trained during WW2. Dinner at theColumba on our return to Oban.

DAY 4 We spend a leisurely morning in Oban the unofficial capital of theWest Highlands and acclaimed as the ‘Gateway to the Isles’. Themountains, lochs and islands have captivated artists, authors and poetsfor centuries. Before an afternoon excursion to Seil Island we cross thebridge over the Atlantic which opens up the stunning coastal scenery ofthese Scottish Islands and visit the quaint village of Easdale, with itswhitewashed fisherman’s cottages. We return to Oban for dinner.

DAY 3 This morning we have a visit to the picturesque seaside resort ofSaundersfoot with its pretty harbour overlooking Carmarthen Bay.Afternoon at leisure in charming seaside resort of Tenby, with itsattractive harbour, fantastic beaches and narrow cobbled streets in thewalled cliff top town. Dinner at the Park Hotel.

DAY 4 A morning visit today to Laugharne on the river Taf, a paradise forwriters, artists and birdwatchers, Dylan Thomas is buried in thechurchyard. We then head to Carmarthen and an attraction voted thenumber 1 wonder of Wales, the National Botanic Gardens, where there isan amazing collection of over 8000 different plant varieties, spreadacross 560 acres of beautiful countryside, along with the world’s largestsingle spanned glasshouse that has the best display of Mediterraneanplants in the Northern hemisphere. We return to Tenby for a final dinnerat the Park Hotel.

DAY 5 We leave our hosts at the Park hotel following breakfast andreturn home to Cumbria, arriving back early evening.

Llandudno &North WalesITINERARYDAY 1 A morning departurefrom Cumbria for our journeysouth to the historic city ofChester, where we have time forlunch & sightseeing beforecontinuing via the north Wales coast to Llandudno and our hotel the StKilda. Dinner in the hotel followed by entertainment.

DAY 2 Today we visit Betws-y-Coed for lunch, returning to Llandudno forthe afternoon at leisure by way of the Swallow Falls. Dinner at the StKilda hotel followed by entertainment.

DAY 3 We have a morning visit to Caernarfon with its magnificent castle,where we have time for sightseeing and lunch before an afternoon visitto Llanberis, at the foot of Snowdon. Dinner at the hotel withentertainment to follow.

DAY 4 A full day excursion to Llanfair P.G.and Beaumaris returning toLlandudno and the St Kilda for our final dinner and entertainment.
