Although it was published back in 1922, the book appears to be a solid foundational texton poster designs and layouts.e rst chapter, e Subject in General, really struckme as a great print design resource. It provides the reader with a basic overview of poster

design, addressing topics such as color, psychological impressions, and scale. e writing isvery clear and easy to read.e chapter is broken up into small paragraphs that make it easyto scan and nd the section you are looking for. Illustrations are also included, which helpprovide a visual example to Prices explanations. It will be of great use for an print designand was helpful during my poster project in class.
