Uniform PolicyAppropriate work attireAll employees must adhere to the uniform policy. Failure to do so could result in the employee being sent home to change.

AppearanceAll employees of Poppy’s Parties must maintain a professional appearance at all times. All employees should have exceptional personal hygiene which includes the use of deodorant and fresh breath. Hair must be clean and tidy, in a hairstyle that is off the face. Men must be clean shaven and there should be no visible tattoos. One set of stud earrings is acceptable, but no other piercings should be visible.

Customer Service ProcedureAt Poppy’s Parties, we aim to deliver exceptional, friendly service and to exceed our customer’s expectations.

Greeting customersAt Poppy’s Parties, every employee is expected to treat customers with kindness and respect.

When greeting customers in person, employees must engage with the customer by smiling, using open body language and verbally welcoming them.

The recommended greeting at Poppy’s Parties is:“Good morning/afternoon, my name is _______ how may I help you with your party needs?”

When greeting customers over the phone, the recommended greeting is:“Good morning/afternoon. Welcome to Poppy’s Parties, my name is _______, how may I help you?”

Customer feedbackAt Poppy’s Parties we believe that it is the customer’s right to provide feedback and that we can learn and grow from constructive criticism.

Customers can call 1800 POPPY or visit www.poppysparties.com if they wish to fill out a customer feedback form.

If you receive a complaint from a customer, you must record the details of this complaint in the complaints book and follow it up until it is resolved.

Details to be recorded should include:

• Customer name, phone and booking number• Name of employee dealing with complaint• Description of the complaint• Any action you have taken to resolve the issue

If you cannot resolve the complaint and the matter needs to be escalated, forward the details of the complaint on to Marlene at Head Office on 5553 4499.

DiscountsAt Poppy’s Parties we strive to give our customers the very best prices. It is for this reason that we will rarely offer customers a discount. Discounts shall only be offered at the manager’s discretion.
