Why is BTEC the right qualification for you?
FEWER EXAMSBTEC Business is mainly assessed through
coursework rather than exams. This is particularly
attractive to students who don’t like or can’t
perform well in exams.
REAL-LIFE EXPERIENCEBTEC Business provides you with real life
experience in different areas of business which
is very appealing for potential universities or
prospective employers. A-levels generally focus on
the theory of a subject, whilst BTEC focuses on
real-life practical tasks and give you the skills to
succeed at university and prepare you for what it is
like to be working in business.
PROGRESSION TO UNIVERSITYBTEC is an excellent route into university, accepted
by over 95% of UK universities, including those in
the Russell Group. Vocational focused qualifications
are becoming more popular among students and
universities, who recognise the additional skills that
these students bring with them.
