We provide support to English learners (ELs) across content areas to develop their social and academic language proficiency. Based on their needs, we monitor progress, modify assessments, and work with students in the classroom and in small-group settings. During distance learning, we will support classroom teachers and provide small-group support for ELs.

If a student is late, parents should email or call the office. If emailing, cc the teacher and the attendance email above. (BOTH) Parents will be notified of absence the following day through a telephone message.
Teachers and school will reach out if a child is consistently absent.
Attendance is taken daily (Monday - Friday) by 9:15 am
Students need to be in class by 8:50 am
Doors open at 8:30 am for Kiss n Ride (no supervision prior to 8:30 am)
Walkers may enter at 8:40 am and go directly to class
Last check-out is at 2:45 pm
Dismissal begins at 3:30 pm

● Schoology works best with Chrome or Firefox● There is also an app for your phone or tablet● Any grades that you may see on Schoology are
only part of the final quarter grade. SIS is still where you see progress report marks

Safety Measures Hand Sanitizer and Hand Washing
Masking- masks are worn by all students and staff
Social Distancing- to the greatest extent possible
Cafeteria- utilizing outside tent space, spreading out student in cafeteria, plexiglass dividers for tables
Classroom- students are distanced to the greatest extent possible , students and teachers are wearing masks
Water bottles- each student has been provided a reusable water bottle for days they forget to bring one from home.

Homework K-2: Reading every night
Grades 3-5: Reading every night, math review not to exceed 20 minutes
Grade 6: Build stamina through the year to prepare for middle school; not to exceed 30 -45 minutes
