Today we celebrate the feast of St. Tresa of Lissiux. Donuts will be given in theparish hall for CCD students.

St. Josephs seminary staff and students visits our church today. SyroMalabar National Young Adults & Young Couples Gathering 2014 Over

60 SyroMalabar young adults and young couple leaders are with us in Chicagotoday for their STAFF 2014: the national gathering of young adults hosted by our St TDiocese. They gathered in Chicago to discuss their role in our Church & diocese. Let welcome to Chicago.

Parish council meeting is scheduled in the conference hall today at 9.30 am. All the pcouncil members are requested to attend the meeting.

Next Sunday we celebrate as mission Sunday and please bring items for auction and awill be a second collection. For the kids there will be games in the basement.

St. Tomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Diocese of Chicago is implementing the CharterProtection of Children and Young People mandated by United States Conference oBishops. A Key element of this charter is to provide "Safe Environment" training tclergy/employees/teachers/volunteers/parents/children.

Clergy/employees/volunteers: Must attend "Protecting God's Children" a Virtus pr Te last session was in August and future session dates will be published in coming All CCD students attend age appropriate Safe Environment training sessions. Tis iarranged. All others must attend Safe Environment awareness. We have arranged 2 training parents in our church on Sunday, October 12, 2014 (9:20am & 10:15am - each sesminutes long). Registration happens at the training session.
