Syro Malabar Cultural Academy is now oering a Math enrichment Program to children

(Ages 8 15). Our intention is to broaden and enrich the students' understanding of math-

ematics rather than to accelerate them through the standard school mathematics curriculum

Goals

To display an extensive in-depth number sense with understanding of concepts

To develop logical approach in solving multi-step problems

To make high level connections

To learn to use a variety of strategies and articulate thinking

To understand and create complex patterns, systems

To make them procient in mental math
