FIRST DEGREE BURNS First degree burns are caused by sunburns. The inflammation of the skin is characterized by pain, redness, and a mild amount of swelling.
SECOND DEGREE BURNS Second degree
burns are similar to first degree burns, but are deeper in the skin, more painful, and are also blistering of the skin.
THIRD DEGREE BURNS Third degree
burns are deeper; involves all layer of the skin, which kills the area of the skin that’s affected. Also, it’s painless and the skin looks white and leathery.
