July 2008, Standard & Poor’s Services, upgrade the sovereign long term qualification

in foreign currency of Peru to investment grade ‘BBB-’, and its long term qualification

in local currency to ‘BBB+’.

Likewise, upgrades the short term sovereign qualification in foreign currency of Peru to ‘A-

3’ and in local currency to ‘A-2’.

In opinion of Standard & Poor’s Services, this upgrades were in response of the important

strengthening of the fiscal and external vulnerabilities, in a context of many sources

of growing, with small inflation rate and strengthening of macroeconomics

fundaments.
