1. INTRODUCTION

The world’s business community is aware of the fact that India has large human resource in the

country though it is still under‐trained and under‐utilized. The huge demand in the world

computing industry for software professionals is being met by India in many ways but it has still a

long way to go. A number of training institutes have mushroomed across the country offering a

variety of courses in order to bridge the gap of demand and supply. Some of these attempts by

some training institutes are at times of dubious distinction with the sole intention of making a

quick buck in the market, often confusing and misleading the aspirants, especially in the context

4. TRAINING METHODOLOGY

We provide cognitive training to our staffs which seem to be more effective for an institution like

us. Cognitive methods are more of giving theoretical training to the trainees. The various methods

under Cognitive approach provide the rules for how to do something, written or verbal

information, demonstrate relationships among concepts, etc. These methods are associated with

changes in knowledge and attitude by stimulating learning. Some of the methods that we using

are lectures, demonstrations, discussions, computer based training (CBT), programmed

instructions (PI), Virtual reality etc.

CAD POINT’s training methodology adopts time tested global standards that includes elements

Hands‐ on labs

These are online labs, which mean that there are no separate theory classrooms and labs. Each

student is given a computer to work with during the instructor led live sessions. Once the trainer

demonstrates the implementation, almost simultaneously the student applies the same on his

/her system. Hence, the learning is online and in presence of the trainer. Everything is practical

oriented and taught through simulations of live environment.

19. CENTRE PERSONALS AND THEIR ROLES

Centre Director/ Centre manager

Centre director is the principal of the centre. He/she is accountable for the P&L of the centre and

is responsible for achieving revenue and enrollment target set for the centre. He/she is also

accountable for the quality of training delivered in the future

Business Development Manager

BDM is responsible for generating business at the centre and should be able to manage all market

opportunities. He/she should carry out innovative and effective promotional activities. Overall he

is responsible for enquiry generation and conversion

Counselor

The counselor is responsible for maximizing revenue by increasing conversions of the enquiries

generated at the centre

Business Development Executive ( BDE)

BDE is responsible for generating maximum walk‐ins to the centre by implementing innovative

marketing plans in the region

Placement Manager

Placement Manager is responsible for identifying the potential employers and generating job

requirements. He/She is also responsible for getting the students ready for the job requirements

Personality Development trainer

Responsible for training the students on non technical front, like personality development,

attitude etc.



Course coordinator

Course Coordinator is responsible for the quality of training delivery, He/She will take frequent
