are wanting to pursue the area of writing and journalism.
Goal: to have students write successful leads for stories that they will develop about the school and community
ACTION PLAN CONTINUED… The presentation is a combination of speaker
led, and user interactive Presentations. The method of deliver is through the
computer, projected onto the smart board Colored theme- red Black and White. Black
for the background, red for the headings of the topic and white for the information.
There are some multimedia effects that can be used for this presentation. Videos, websites and charts.
LEARNING OBJECTIVE
The students will develop appropriate Headlines for stories.
The students will identify key points in a story.
The students will write an effective lead for a news story.
