The immune system doesn’t work directly to the sport of baseball, but it is big. You need to stay healthy to play the best level of ball. You can stay healthy by not putting your hands in your mouth while playing ball, and don’t eat the dirt on the diamond. Also, you can exercise daily to prevent yourself from getting sick and not being able to play. Ichiro (below) exercises daily and takes 200 swings a day. He has the longest current streak for games played. Three seasons long.

The Circulatory system is a big part of baseball. It includes the big daddy, the heart. The heart pumps blood through your body helping you get ground balls, hit and most importantly live. Also the heart pumps blood into your muscles, helping you get the energy to run, and the power to throw.

The nervous system helps you a whole lot in baseball. It tells you to swing the bat when a pitch is through, or it tells you to put up your glove to catch the ball. The system mainly warns or tells you how to react when something is going to happen. Like when you slide into a base, your brain connects to your nervous system and tells you to slide at that time. It’s that easy.

The Muscular System has a very big job involving baseball. For pitching you have to use your quad muscles to extend your power range. Also, you use your biceps to push the ball for a short throw from second to first. When you throw, you mainly exercise those muscles. But the most important muscle in baseball are the ones connected to your hips. Everything involves your hips. You hit the ball with power using your hips. You pitch fast using your hips. It doesn’t matter if your as small as Dustin Pedrioa, or as big as Joe Maure, I they have the same movement, the ball will go far. Hitting will work out your hips and make them strong.

It’s not really connected to baseball, but it’s an important system. If you don’t eat so much junk, you will perform at your greatest level. So when you eat not so good stuff, it gets to your stomach and you slow down, and might even get a cramp. Now that can really slow down your swing. I know from experience.

This system is an important one. The skeletal system is the frame of your body. Without it, we couldn’t throw or catch a ball. Really, we would just be blobs. Different kind of bones means different kinds of swings, and throws. A smaller player like Jose Altuve won’t have the same speed as a bigger player like Jacoby Ellsbury due to smaller bone structure, thus a smaller stride. You make your bones stronger in baseball by running, working out and repetitive hitting.
