Today we hang out with friends, go to ball games and watch tv.
How did newspapers attract more readers?
They had comics, sport sections & covered women's news.
Today newspapers use interesting stories to attract readers.
How did Americans shop?
They used mail order catalogs. Today people go to malls, stores and
use the internet to shop.
