This reformation caused a huge decline in the papal influence and power and brought about a universal division within Great Britain. This transformed Great Britain’s religious perspective unlike any other event of the century

Page 10: BY MARK MAHONEY STUART ADAM KATIE SUMMERS NOLAN KRUSE

This became a significant change in the religious effort of the Catholic Church that would most likely not have occurred if it weren’t for the effort of the Protestant Reformation.Advancement were being made in the Catholic church in Great Britain such as the seminaries for proper priest’s training

This revolution completely changed the political system of Great Britain and how the country was run partly due to the establishment of a republican government, The Common Wealth. This led the way to a more parliamentary based government and allowed for several eminent laws to be passed during the Glorious Revolution

3. The English Revolution1640

Page 12: BY MARK MAHONEY STUART ADAM KATIE SUMMERS NOLAN KRUSE

This allowed for a more constitutional government rather than an absolute rule in which the king decrees and controls nearly everything. These decrees were finally the answers and responses that were needed for the English Revolution that was previously occurring throughout Great Britain

4. The Glorious Revolution1688
