It is unique because The Leaning Tower of Pisa was made to be straight up however during construction, it started to slant because it was built on softer land. Also now, it sinks one millimetre every year. The tower is made entirely out of marble, it is a shell structure because it is not fully enclosed but it is a solid as well so it is a combination. It was used as a bell tower, but now it is used as a tourist attraction. Inside of it, there are stairs which if climbed, can lead to the top of the tower. It stands at 55.86 m tall and it is 640 years old.
