Lead investigator Jerry Clark (FBI agent; retired) describes one of the most chilling and diabolical bank robberies in US history (Erie, PA; 2003).  Suspect wearing a ‘bomb’ strapped to his neck robs a bank and is contacted by police.  A short time later the bomb remotely detonates, killing the suspect.  A deep look into this elaborate plot to execute the bank robbery is debriefed

Lead investigators Lt. Michael King and Det. Jeremiah Donovan (Mass. State Police) detail the NFL star turned murder suspect in a case which grabbed national headlines. Includes details on the celebrity witnesses in the case, dealing with mass media exposure and the events leading to Hernandez’s recent suicide while in custody

"AARON HERNANDEZ MURDER INVESTIGATION”

2018 Legal Update presented by San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe; Organized retail crime, enhancements to robbery cases and recent case laws which impact. Investigations are presented (topics include search and seizure, detentions, interview/interrogations)

“The $37 million dollar heist” presented by case agent Marshall Norton (Santa Clara County DA).  Debriefs the robbery of the Silicon Valley chip-maker UNIGEN where multiple armed/masked suspects raid the business and steal over $37 million in computer chips.  Investigation leads to the recovery of 98% of the chips and the indictment of multiple suspects

Attorney Mike Rains (Rains Lucia Stern, PC) presenting on host of current issues surrounding law enforcement including personal Social Media use by LE (and thediscipline officers have received), the release of officers personal cell phone information (in IA and criminal matters), recent court decisions in OIS/UOF cases (emphasis on de-escalation, mental health issues and pre-incident tactics) and case law surrounding the use/release of Body Worn cameras (under the California Public Records Act)
