CHAPTER 1-1 (IDENTIFYING POINTS, LINES, & PLANES)
What is the difference between a point, a line, and a plane?
Think of a football field. The players are the points, yard lines, and the field is the plane.
CHAPTER 1-1 (IDENTIFYING POINTS, LINES, & PLANES)
Point: No dimension. Represented by a dot.
Line: One dimension. Never ends, keeps going in both directions. ( ) Use 2 points to name a line.
Plane: 2 dimensions. Represented by a parallelogram, but does not end. Named by 3 points.
