Biogloss is our range of vegetal oil-based emulsions. These decorative topcoats are solvent-free and water-soluble. Biogloss paints release no disturbing odour. They ensure comfort of use and excellent finish quality. They must be used together with the water-based primer Aquaprimer and vegetal oil-based Bioundercoat.

Matt, satin or glossy finish ?Our Enamel range proposes a choice of topcoats with various degrees of brilliance.Enamel topcoats can be applied to different types of surfaces both interior and exterior: mild steel galvanized steel, wood etc.

• Gloss Enamel 100% gloss. Ideal to add volume to a room as it reflects light, creating a mirror effect.

• Eggshell Enamel 50% gloss. Will bring selected pieces of furniture into the limelight.

• Matt Enamel Matt Enamel (0% gloss). The perfect finish for doors and woodwork structures.

To get the best result at painting wood and metal surfaces just follow these few simples rules:

• Apply a first coat in a criss cross movement and even out the paint immediately to avoid any surplus thickness that would leave irregular patches. Allow to dry

• The next day, start all over in the same way

• Allow to dry for a minimum of 8 hours

• Scrub to remove greasy or resinous spots or clean them up with Testbenzin

• Treat with Solignum Colourless• Sand the surface following the grain of

the wood with 220 – 320 sand paper• Dust with a soft brush

Previously painted wood

• If the existing coating is still in a good state, clean it up with a wet cloth before sanding it

• If the coating is damaged, strip it off with Nitromors Paint Remover

• Fill the holes and cracks with putty• Sand the surface following the grain of

the wood with 220 – 320 sand paper• Dust with a soft brush

Old wood

• Check the state of the wood. Remove any part that is not sound.

• Fill the holes and cracks with putty• Then proceed as recommended for

new wood surfaces

W O O D Surface preparation

For a flawless and long-lasting finish, adequate preparation of the wood surface is essential, prior to painting, even if the wood is new.

M E TA L Surface preparation

Before painting a metal surface, remove any rust or other contaminant with a steel brush to get a clean surface. The cleaner the surface is the better the finish will be and the more lasting too.

Remember to apply a uniform rust inhibiting primer. It will not only protect the metal base but will also improve adhesion of the decorative topcoat and prevent subsequent flaking.
