HISTORY OF C3 COLLEGE WABeginning in 2003, C3 College WA was birthed out of a desire to build strong local church leaders and heroes

who will be a light for Christ in the community. C3 College WA has seen over 100 people attain nationally

recognised qualifications, ranging in age between 17 and 65 and is an extension campus of C3 Bridgeman

Downs Ignition Training College.

VISIONThe vision of C3College WA is to train you to have an effective & impacting Christian life. C3 College WA offers

full-time & part-time study options designed to equip you to become a more effective leader & give you skills

to achieve success & fulfilment in life.

HOW C3 COLLEGE WA RUNSC3 College WA doesn’t run like a normal Bible College. It has been created to allow maximum flexibility for people of all work situations & schedules, whilst providing Bible College level impartation of knowledge to Christians.The college offers full time & part time training courses, running day & night, depending on the stream chosen.

COLLEGE LOCATIONSMain Campus C3 Hepburn Heights located at 31 Chadlington Dve Padbury, a 10 minute walk from Greenwood Train Station on the Joondalup Train Line.Southern Campus C3 Fremantle located at 230 Hampton Rd, South Fremantle, a 3 minute bus ride from The Esplanade Train Station on the Fremantle Train Line. Youth Ministry & Culture. Hear from some of the most cutting-edge youth pastors in the state, as they passionately

Chaplaincy. Gain insight, understanding & training into the challenging & pivotal role that is on the front line of helping

OT Survey. Take a journey with the characters & the authors of the Bible from Genesis to just before the birth of Jesus

Christ, with an emphasis on the incredible re-occurring promises & characteristics of God.

Church History. Explore the birth of the Church, & how it has developed & grown through great triumphs & challenges

with incredible role models; to the church we see today.

Doctrine 1. A unit of ‘Meat’ as theological issues ranging from Revelation & The Scriptures to the Trinity & Salvation are

explained, discussed & chewed upon.

NT Survey. Discover the life-changing account of Jesus Christ, & then explore the early days of the church & the birth of

theology in the New Testament.

Doctrine 2. Another in-depth unti covering topics vital to your Christian walk such as Humanity, End Times, the Church,

Angels & Demons are explained, discussed & chewed upon.

Ethics*. Have your mind stretched & your ideas challenged on issues facing society today such as abortion, euthanasia,

war, sexuality & relationships & cloning.

COUNSELLINGDO YOU HAVE A PASSION TO HELP PEOPLE?

ARE YOU IN A ROLE THAT REQUIRES COUNSELLING SKILLS?

The Diploma of Counselling is a great foundational qualification for

working in many areas of community services.

The program is endorsed by the Australian Counselling Association which means that you can practice as a counsellor

after you have finished the program. If you compared that with university, you have to complete at least 3 years before

you can ‘practice’. The course provides university accreditation so if you want to continue your studies you will receive

credit for what you have done already.

TOPIC EFFECTIVE PUBLIC SPEAKINGDo you regularly give presentations at work? Are you in a profession that requires high

levels of public address? Are you interested in overcoming the biggest fear human beings

have? This short course is for you. Receive knowledge and skills as well as practical

opportunities to enhance this area of your world.

Is this course legitimate?

The Certificate IV in Christian Ministry & Theology & Diploma of Counselling are nationally recognised, fully accredited courses that are

Austudy approved. If you plan on doing further study, these qualifications will give you credit at University or TAFE.

What can I do once I have this qualification?

On completion of the Certificate IV in Ministry & Theology, graduates may be able to find employment in fields including Chaplaincy, Youth

Work, Pastoring, Community Work & Church Planting* (*further study required).

How much is the course & when do I pay fees?

The Certificate IV is $4,300. Fees are paid at least a term up front, in accordance with the C3 College WA Trainee Handbook (see page 10).

Fees can be paid by cash, cheque or eftpos.

There is a non-refundable application fee due upon applying to study. This fee varies according to when you apply. There are costs

associated with textbooks. You should budget $150.00 for these resources. A cost of $25 will apply for a field trip. Registration, travel &

accommodation costs will apply for involvement in the Red Frogs Chaplaincy program at the end of the year. You will be notified in a timely

manner of the exact costs.

What days do I have lectures?

Full-time college students will have lectures on Monday nights, Wednesday days and Wednesday nights. The day class will begin at 9 and

finish at 5 and the night lectures will begin at 6:30pm and finish at 8:45pm.

Where is my internship based?

The internship program is based at your local church, in an area that you choose. The internship is one day a week, with the day decided

upon by you & your supervisor (pastor).

How long does the course run for?

The course runs for 35 weeks, broken into 4 terms:

Term 1 7 February - 8 April Term 2 27 April - 24 June

Term 3 25 July - 23 September Term 4 10 October - 2 December

Who will be the lecturers?

Lecturers will include the following: Phil Pringle, John Finkelde, Darrren Hultgren, Phil Kinney, Jason Schroeder, Ben Gould, Cherry Schroeder,

John Mezbourian, Michael Greaves, Joe Rossi as well as various guest lecturers from around the state & nation.

What units will the course cover?

Units will include Doctrine 1 & 2, Old Testament, New Testament, Youth Ministry & Culture, Ethics, Church History, Chaplaincy, Major

Project & Ordering Your World.

What kind of assessments are there?

Assessments are competency-based in their format, & will include the following methods: Short Answer Tests, Exams, Essays, Oral

Presentations, Debates, Reports & Video Presentations.
