Partnering For Quality - Music and Memory

December 4th Partnering For Quality Conference - Music and Memory. The

Conference is sponsored by the State of Connecticut Department of Health Services

and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid in collaboration with the Connecticut

Association of Health Care Facilities (CAHCF), Leading Age Connecticut and

Qualidigm. You've been to these in the past, and you KNOW they are superb!..., and

there is NO CHARGE for attendance!!! Certificates of Attendance will be awarded to all

with six (6.0) contact hours awarded to Nursing Home Administrators for their

attendance at the entire event.

Seating is limited to three (3) representatives. Register early. Additional seating may

become available as we get closer to the event date.

Central Connecticut State University is a fabulous venue with FREE PARKING. See

Recently visiting the folks at Beacon Brook Health Center were State

Representatives Rosa Rebimbas (R-70th) and David Labriola (R-131st). Pictured

of Health Care Administrators is pleased to announce their Annual Holiday Luncheon

to be held Friday, December 18th at the Inn at Middletown in Middletown, CT. The

event will run from 11:00 AM (Registration opens at 10:30 AM) until 3:00 PM with a

Chapter Meeting at 11:00 AM; Luncheon at 12:00 Noon; Michael Hotz, CNHA,

FACHCA and Chair of the American College of Health Care Administrators,

Keynote Speaker at 1:00 PM; and, of course, the Chapter's infamous Collegiality Hour

beginning at 2:00 PM. The event concludes at 3:00 PM (or whenever).

A Program Announcement and Registration Information will be available soon on the

Events & Education page of our website. Please try to get back to Rick by

Friday, December 11th so that we'll have an accurate food count.

The CAHCF Bylaws require the suspension of any CAHCF Member more than 90 days

in arrears on their dues payment. This includes Membership in the American Health

Care Association (AHCA/NCAL).
