Tuesday, May 24th at 6:30pm~ Join us for End of Life Planning. In this event we will have a few different speakers to hit on some of the aspects of end of life. Daniel L. Newcomer from the Newcomer Funeral Home, Rev. Krystal Goodger from Brodhead United Methodist Church, attorney Scott Thomson from the law offices of Kittelsen, Barry, Wellington, Thompson and Schluesche, and possibly a Hospice representative.
Spring Planting Service, Sunday, May 15th 3:00pm
Bring a chair to Jerry and Barb Daniels Farm,
N1495 Cty OK, Brodhead. A simple service for a blessing
and celebration of the spring planting season is sponsored
by the Brodhead Ecumenical Community.
Save the date: May 27th from 12-3! We will prep
some of the decorations for VBS! Join us as we
prepare to follow Jesus- The Light of the World! All
skill levels welcome- painting, cutting, preparing
craft kits for classes, lots to do!
Looking for something to do tonight? Head to the ball diamonds and support our softball teams! They play at 6pm & 8pm.
Assistant Wanted~ As our church grows and gets busier, we are looking for an assistant. This
person would work about 9 hours a week (this could grow as we grow). The
time and days would be: Monday for 3 hours, Wednesdays from 12-3, and
Fridays from 12-3. The assistant would assist our custodian on Mondays and
answer phones and do office work on Wednesdays and Fridays. It will be light
custodial work and nontechnical office work. Please send a resume to

The AARP Smart Driver Course will be Wednesday, June 1st from 9-1,
offered by AARP Driver Safety, is the nation’s largest classroom and online
driver safety course and is designed especially for drivers age 50 and older.
AARP membership is not required to take the course and there are no tests to
pass. The course registration fee is $15 for AARP members and $20 for
non-members. If you are an AARP member please bring your membership
card with you.
