CRA2012Desired OutcomesAt the end of this activity, participants should be able to:• Distinguish patient populations at greatest risk for rheumatic disease.• Optimally manage RA and other rheumatic diseases.• Incorporate new tests/technologies into the diagnosis and risk assessment. • Acquire the latest legislative, clinical research and medical advances that impact care and treatment to patients with rheumatic diseases.• Evaluate the relative effectiveness of diagnositc and treatment modalities• Describe ways in which social media and online information impacts patient perception of the care they receive from their doctor. • Acquire the latest legislative and regulatory changes and the impact of the Accountable Care Act (ACA) on Medicare.
