Anxiety related questions
• Interpretation/explanation– Worry, nervous or anxious– concerns, pressure/stress or fear/dread
• Experiences/issues – Individual: health, job/work, study, aging, …– Household: children, husband/wife, relative,
income/expenditure– Society: trusting the gov’t (local and central),
school environment, security
Depression Related Question• Interpretation/explaination– ‘depression’ is sound a technical word– grief, sandiness, moodiness, unpleasantness, painfulness
• Experiences/issues– Feelings deep sorrow due to lost lovely person, lost of
assts and valuable things– Chronic physical issues/disease– Domestic violence – Working place environment – Heritage of civil war/changing of regimes
Overall Issues-Anxiety and Depress
• Confusion over medication for anxiety and depress
• Reference periods (age onset) • Similar interpretation/description within
anxiety and depression (worries, bad feelings/stress)
• Interview environment (respondents things very private)
