Sip on a frosty beverage without getting frosty fingers! Make your own beverage koozie to keep your drink cool, not your hand. The following instructions are for a can, but this could also be applied to a bottle adjusting the seam allowance to compensate for the space.

Supply List1. 10 1/2” X 4 1/2” of Material: cotton, vinyl,
pleather, or other2. Scissors or Rotary Cutter3. Pen, pencil, or marker4. Ruler5. Heavy duty Janome sewing machine6. Beverage container of choice!
Janome Supplies1. Any Janome machine 2. Janome Red Tip Needle
Construction Instructions1. Measure out a rectangular shape of 10 1/2” x 4
1/2” and cut.
2. Place the can in the center of the material, and trace a circle, if you are not sure where the center is, you can fold the material in half long ways and line it up accordingly.

3. Draw two 2” lines parallel to the circle on the narrow sides of the fabric.
4. Cut away the previously marked lines as shown.
5. Fold the material face sides together, line up and sew along the edges as shown. For this a 1/4” seam allowance but it can be adjusted depending on the thickness of the material and size of can.
6. Turn Material Right side out. Once turned right side out, slide onto your beverage and enjoy!!
