still carry hints of the colonial influences of

flag.jpgRules and Laws in

Canada Have you ever bothered to think

about Canada, and their laws? Well now

I’m going to tell you!

Canada has a very wide range of foreign

workers. Every year over 150,000 foreign

workers enter Canada. There is also a

decent amount of immigration in Canada.

Immigration regularly conducts public

consultations. Canada may have

immigration but it’s pretty much well

rounded.

Criminals in Canada

http://stonesoupstation.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.htmlCrimes/Prisoners

Canada has a decent amount of crimes

as well. There are 94 prisoners for every

100,000 people. Compared to the 426 in

the U.S. and 77 in the U.K., Canada looks

pretty good. Canada’s murder rate is 2.7 for

every 100,000 people. This shows that

Canada’s criminal record is pretty good

compared to other countries.

Wacky Laws Canada may have some good laws but

others can be really wacky. In Canada

margarine butter can’t be yellow. You also

need a prescription to buy or sell costumes.

Clear soda cannot have caffeine in it. (That

means, Mountain Dew cannot have caffeine

in it.) See, Canada does have some pretty

wacky laws.

Canada can be a very interesting country

to research, there is immigration, foreign

workers, and some very strange laws. Now,

you know a lot more about Canada.

Canada? I will tell you about Canadian

musicians and awards. I will also tell you

Canada’s musicians and music awards.

Canada is much like America, it has many

music awards like the C.R.M.A.Is, the

C.A.S.B.Ys and a lot more. Many musicians

came from Canada, like Celine Deane, Bruce

Aitkin, and Justin Beiber. Adolph Routnier

and Calixa Lavelle were the writers of

Canada’s national anthem ( Oh’ Canada.)

I’m sorry if you don’t like Canada any more

now that you know Justin Bieber is from

there. http://exclaim.ca/images/newdesign/up-western_awards.jpg

Canadian Instruments

On the page I’m going to tell you about

Canadian instruments. There are a lot of

instruments in Canada that you would

recognize. Some of them are the tritare (an

instrument similar to the guitar) and the

xylophone. One more of them are the

baroque flutes. I bet you recognized some

of those didn’t you? http://www.ams.org/mathmedia/images/md-200606-tritare.jpg

Canadian music festivals

There are so many fun music festivals in

Canada. The biggest festival In Canada is the

Vancouver symphony of fire. There is a

whole weeklong festival called the Canadian

music week. There is so many more

festivals like the de mon treal and the big

valley jam. There is a countless number of

Canadian festivals I could just read on and

on about.
