Capability Statement
our health experience
Savills PM has developed an excellent track record in the development management and project management of
Hospitals
Aged care facilities
Medical laboratories
Health infrastructure projects
Testament to our success is our significant repeat clientele. This is due to projects being functionally and socially effective, completed within cost and time parameters, with effective communications to all affected parties, and our ability to identify and mitigate project risks for stakeholders.
Many of our ‘health specialists’ also have experience in delivering projects within complex operational environments whether they be green-field adjacent to Hospital facilities or brown field projects within the facilities.
Our team’s experience ensures that they understand the business continuity challenges and safety risks when undertaking and implementing both simple and complex health projects.
Savills project management methodologies focus on detailed pre-planning and management to protect business continuity and enable the maintenance of operational service standards in hospitals and health services related projects. Many health projects undertaken have involved concurrent demolition and reconstruction of existing facilities whilst always maintaining full functionality across the facilities at all times.
Our team has experience with alternative forms of procurement, structuring contracts, negotiating contractual terms and contract administration. With a number of staff holding in excess of 20 years experience servicing clients in this sector we bring a significant depth of intellectual property and experience that we can utilise. For our clients in this sector this means’ benefits and ‘value add’ to the whole project life cycle process.
We care about our clients’ project outcomes and work in partnership with them to achieve their goals. We understand the risks associated with many types of projects and have formulated strategies to manage these. Whilst each project is treated individually on its own merits, there are some overarching streamlined principles that we are able to apply including, Program Management, Risk Management, ESD Management and Value Management principles.
Savills PM maintains a finger on the pulse approach to what is happening both in the market, in construction circles as well as at the policy level, which is the key to delivering the best solutions for our clients’ and their project requirements. Savills PM can bring an understanding of these issues to any project to forecast interventions that could affect your project in the near future, and therefore prepare the project to better plan with how to deal with such issues.
Listed over the following pages are some examples of relevant health related projects that have been, or are currently being delivered by Savills PM.
