Money

• Cape Verde Escudo (CVE)• 79.5298 CVE• I should bring as much money as I could. I

would bring a lot because you can buy anything you want.

Cities and Towns

• Porto Novo• Praia• Assomada• These places are good to visit because they

have nice sites and places to be. You will really enjoy it.

• You can do a lot of things in these places you name it and you can do it.

Famous Landmarks

• Sao Pedro Beach - You can do a lot of things here you can swim, eat, socialize, relax, and anything else you would like to do. It’s a great place to relax and it’s always nice out.

• Monte Cara – It’s a nice place to take pictures and talk. It’s a really pretty scene.

• Royal Fortress of Saint Philip – This place is like a hotel and/or a restaurant it’s a really nice place to eat, socialize, and sleep and possibly swim you would have a great time there.

Food

• Carne Gizado (stewed meat & vegetables). • Canja (thick chicken rice soup)• Cachupa Rica• Coconut Candy• I personally think Carne Gizado sounds the

best.

Be Careful!

• Plato – This area is dangerous day and night and around nightfall. You should look out for Pickpockets and Mugging.

• Sucupira Marcet – This is the same as well. As a matter of fact, after nightfall Praia is dead. You only get around by taxi. Don’t even think of walking anywhere.

• Well hope you would have a good time in Cape Verde, it’s a really nice country. Enjoy!
