I shoot fantasy, glamour, sexy, casual and professional styles. I can also make you look like a renaissance woman complete with period gown, pearls and braided hair, or I could create a surreal

piece with you levitating, walking on clouds or surrounded by butterflies, creating portraits that are

more artwork than photography.

If you want something simpler I can just capture you as ‘you’, casual, friendly approachable, or perhaps

showing a time of transformation for you, with a raw emotive portrait depicting your more inner world.


YOUR PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE

Hi I’m Hazel and I’m a contemporary portrait photographer. I shoot magazine style portraits with a romantic, feminine quality,

offering YOU a “model for a day” experience.

I am passionate about promoting self worth and self love in all women of all ages. Not when when you’ve lost weight, not later, but now, just as

you are. I can see beauty and I know how to capture it.

Women come to my studio - not models or celebrities - but everyday women like you, to experience what it feels like to have a celebrity style

makeover. Together with makeup artist we style and transform you, making you look and feel gorgeous and then I photograph you in a way

you want to be photographed.

During your portrait sessions I will guide you every step of the way, encouraging you, making your shoot fun and easy and an experience

you will never forget. Your shoot will last about 2 hours and will allow for 3-5 outfit changes.

Approximately one week later we will meet again at your “reveal session”, where you can see and hold 25 signature retouched portraits and what you like, you can purchase. There is no hard sell and you will

not make any of your purchase decisions until you have seen your final printed images.

I am specialising in shooting with dry ice. You can lie dow and make it look like a milk bath, or sit up and fan it gently to get wonderful rolling fog effects. The excitement of hearing the crackle of the ice and the beautiful

and dramatic results it brings is worth the time and effort it takes.

“I’ve always wanted to be a dancer but I just dont move like that”

Avalon isnt a dancer, but dressing her in tulle and processing the images with a beautiful soft dreamy look help give her what she

wanted. I coached her to pose in dancer positions, paying attention to the little details of her hands and giving the illusion of movement.
