Download, Install, and Authorize You must first download ArcMap onto your computer. Visit trial.arcgis.com to find the download if you haven't done so already. After you have downloaded and placed the installation files into the destination folder of your choice, launch the setup.exe file if the program does not launch automatically. When prompted, select ArcGIS for Desktop Advanced (ArcInfo) Single Use. Click Authorize Now. The Software Authorization Wizard will walk you through the rest of the authorization process.

In the Authorization Options dialog box, check the I have installed my software and need to authorize it option and then click Next. In the Authorization Method dialog box, check the Authorize with Esri using the Internet option and then click Next. Complete the required fields for both of the Authorization Information pages and then click Next. In the Software Authorization Number dialog box, enter authorization number EVA620756409and then click Next. (This authorization number can be shared with four additional people.) In the Authorize Software Extensions dialog box, select I have authorization number(s) to authorize one or more extensions. Insert your authorization number next to the extensions you are interested in and then click Next.

Your ArcMap trial software will now be authorized for use.
