Established in Abu Dhabi in 2007, Caracal has more than 15 years of production heritage as the first firearms manufacturer in the GCC. We design, manufacture, test and assemble small arms from 9mm to 12.7mm calibre, including combat pistols, submachine guns, tactical rifles and sniper rifles.

Each weapon we deliver is manufactured and tested to perform every time, in any circumstance and irrespective of weather or mission conditions. To ensure that those on the front lines have the firepower they require, we continually enhance and update our products with in-house engineers and designers incorporating the latest technological advances, changing customer needs and evolving mission.

As an EDGE company, Caracal brings the latest advanced technologies to the manufacture of high-performance small arms. Additive manufacturing combined with CAD / CAM during design and prototyping allows us to quickly and accurately refine the performance and ergonomics of each weapon component to ensure we surpass our stringent performance requirements.

Additive manufacturing also is being explored in the production of weapons accessories. In the future, as the technology and safety of 3D-printed metals and composites advances, metal parts could be 3D printed for lighter more customisable weapons.

Designed for flawless operation in even the most harshest environments, every Caracal weapon reflects design features that incorporate ergonom-ics and the latest requirements.

Performance is further guaranteed by production in state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities that include some of the world’s best CNC machines, QC equipment and moulding technologies.

All our weapons are continuously verified against their functional requirements and established specifications.

Additionally, the safety, performance and reliability of our weapons are validated in accordance with NATO, CIP and other applicable military testing procedures. These validation tests ensure the performance of weapons during climatic extremes, adverse conditions, and rough handling situations.

Enhanced F The 9 x 19 mm Caracal Enhanced F semi-automatic pistol was launched in 2015 as a fundamentally new weapon extensively tested against the harshest conditions and recognised standards. It carries a high-capacity 18-round 9mm magazine and retains the unique low-bore axis found on previous Caracal pistols. Customers can opt for a tactical pack with a QD polymer shoulder stock and forward grip with integrated mounting rail.

CMP 9The CMP 9 submachine gun is a modern weapon operating an advanced blowback system chambered in 9 x 19 mm calibre. The bolt extends over the barrel for excellent weight distribution and weapon control. The rear ambidextrous charging handle and traditional AR-style fire controls ensure operator familiarity with the weapon system. The CMP 9 is available in multiple configurations for different operational requirements. Barrel lengths and types, handguards, suppressors, stocks and charging handles can all be configured at the operator level.

CAR 814 The CAR 814 is a centre-fire, gas-impingement operated assault rifle, cham-bered in 5.56 x 45mm NATO. The CAR 814 is an assault rifle designed for use in law enforcement and military settings. The weapon is available in semi-automatic and select-fire configurations, and in various barrel lengths (10.5” CQB, 14.5” Carbine and 16”).

CAR 816 The CAR 816 is a centre-fire, rotating-bolt system assault rifle that has an advanced short-stroke pushrod gas-piston system with a three-positions valve, chambered in 5.56 x 45mm NATO. It is designed for high-end law enforcement and military applications. The weapon is available in semi-au-tomatic and select-fire configurations, and available in various barrel lengths (7.5”, 10.5” CQB, 14.5” Carbine and 16”).

The CAR 817 AR is a centre-fire, rotating-bolt system assault rifle with an advanced short-stroke pushrod gas-piston system with a user-adjustable multi-position gas valve. It is chambered in 7.62 x 51 mm NATO / .308Win and is designed for high-end law enforcement and military applications. The weapon is available in semi-automatic and select-fire configurations and available in various barrel lengths (12.5”, 14.5" and 16” Carbine).

The CAR 817 DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) is a high-precision semi-automatic, gas-operated, and rotating-bolt system tactical rifle, chambered in 7.62 x 51 mm NATO / .308Win. The CAR 817 DMR is a tactical weapon designed for law enforcement and military applica-tions. The weapon is available in semi-automatic configuration, as well as two barrel lengths: 16” and 18”.

CSR Tactical Sniper Family

The CSR family of high-precision, manually operated, bolt-action tactical sniper rifles offers several versions. The CSR 308 is chambered in 7.62 NATO / .308Win. The CSR 338 is chambered in Calibre .338 Lapua Magnum (70 x 8.6 mm). The CSR 50 is chambered in 12.7 x 99 mm NATO and is intended for long-range target engagement.
