It is required documentation to supporting the age of the players.Note: At the moment of the entry deadline, the MAs can list an additional boy and girl in each category (U11, U13, U15, U17 and U-19) as reserve, just in case if one of the official entries cannot participate. Details for Team Event:Team Size: 4 men and 4 women per country.Method of competition: a. less than 6 countries will play Round Robin (top two seeded team play last tie).

b. 6 to 8 teams2 pools where top 2 teams in each pool play feed into a crossover 4 team knockout draw with 3rd place playoff. Consolation play for pool losers.

c. 8 to 11 teamspools of 3 or 4 teams where top 2 teams in each pool play feed into a 6 team knockout draw with 3rd place playoff. Consolation play for pool losers and first round draw losers when possible.Seeding:

a. Based on previous CAREBACOb. Team Championships results.

c. 8 teams or less2 seeds

d. More than 8 teams1 seed per pool

Details for Individual Event:

Maximum entries for each country:

a. Men Singkes 4 players

b. Women singles 4 players

c. Men Doubles 2 pairs

d. Women Doubles 2 pairs

e. Mixed Doubles 4 pairs

Note:

a. Players are allowed to play a maximum of 3 events: 1 singles, 1 doubles and 1 mixed only. (For example: Cant play singles, or doubles or mixed in 2 different categories)

b. Players are allowed to play in an older category.

c. Consolation rounds will only be played for Singles in Under 15, Under 13 and Under 11 Age groups if times permit.Entry fee:$100.00 USD per team Paid in cash before beginning of tournament. If entry fees are not paid according to the regulations, the players concerned are not allowed to play. The member association that enters a player into a circuit tournament is responsible for paying the entry fees for that player.Withdrawals:Please ensure that the organizer will be informed immediately when a player has to withdraw, together with the reason. Attention: Any withdrawal after the Sunday immediately preceding the draw, for any reason whatsoever, renders the Member Association concerned liable to an amount of $150.00 for the inconvenience caused by the withdrawal (as defined in BWF General Competition Regulations). Courts:3 courts 1 extra court if necessary

Visa:Important for all players who need visa for Puerto Rico, please request immediately from Federacin Puertorriquea de Badminton an official invitation letter and apply as soon as possible. (E-mail: [email protected]).

Transportation:Federacin Puertorriquea de Bdminton will offer transportation from the airport to the official Hotel, and the venue, only when booking for the Official Hotel.

You should aim to arrive at Luis Muoz Marn International Airport.Accommodation:The accommodations for the CAREBACO International 2013 will be at the Sheraton Hotel and Casino on the Convention Center Area in San Juan. Rooms are $109.00 USD. No taxes and fees included. Later we will provide the phones and web page link for the reservation process.

Medical service:Will be provided medical assistance during the tournament.

Insurance:To be arranged by the participants.
