Adult Social Care Training Course
Riverside is working in partnership with
Cumbria Adult Education and local care
providers to provide a pathway into the care
sector
You are invited to join an 8 day Level One Adult
Social Care training course at Greystone Community
Centre, Botchergate, Carlisle, starting on 23rd Feb.
Training will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays over four weeks.
On the course you will have an introduction to adult
social care; learn about roles and responsibilities,
awareness of communication, along with skills and
attitudes required for the role.
You will also have the opportunity to learn about
employability skills; identify your own key skills, personal presentation and have a chance to practice
your interview skills and techniques.
Learners will be invited to attend a “Meet the Care
Provider” event, where you will learn about their
organisation, job roles, work placement opportunities
and existing job vacancies.
