The Grossinger Family LegacyThe Grossinger family has been in the auto industry since the early 1900’s. Today, Grossinger Autoplex, the oldest family owned auto dealership in Illinois, is operated by third generation Grossingers, Caroline and Gary.

Caroline Grossingerand her brotherGary took over the family business in 2000 after the passing of Irwin Grossinger. Since then, Caroline and Gary have continued to follow in their father’s footsteps. In 2009, when hundreds of dealerships were closing, Caroline Grossinger opened new Hyundai and Kia stores in Lincolnwood while Gary christened the largest indoor auto facility in the country. Grossinger City Autoplex includes Toyota, Scion, Cadillac and Chevrolet.

Grossinger Auto Group started as a single Pontiac dealership and has grown to include 13 dealerships representing 9 major automotive brands.

Caroline Grossinger is the owner/dealer principal of Grossinger Autoplex which includes Cadillac, Buick, GMC, Pontiac and Suzuki, Grossinger Hyundai, Grossinger Kia, and Grossinger Toyota/Scion.

All four dealerships, which have been family owned and operated for over 90 years, are located in Lincolnwood, Illinois just north of the city of Chicago.
