About
ChallengeDr. Cohen’s product inventory included a significant amount of excess Xeomin. The vials (which
had accumulated over time) were taking up needed shelf space and tying up free cashflow.
Options for moving the product quickly included delegating the inventory liquidation
responsibilities to his staff.
However, this would require staff members to spend additional time with each patient. Offering
Xeomin as an upsell or converting patients from other preferred neurotoxins would be
time-consuming.
To avoid taxing his staff with the added workload and expectations, Dr. Cohen sought the help of

1. Directory
To ensure high visibility and maximum exposure
with FACE:USA’s growing consumer audience
(currently 6,000 monthly visitors), Dr. Cohen
selected a Premier directory listing that would
appear at the top of local search results for the
Washington DC metro area.
2. Microsite
To establish credibility and trust, Dr. Cohen
built a custom FACE:USA microsite to highlight
his extensive experience, qualifications, board
certifications, associations, staff pics and bios,
media galleries and FAQs.
3. Special Offer
He then set up a high converting e-commerce
page on FACE:USA that included a ‘limited time’
special offer for Xeomin wrinkle-relaxer. Special
offers could be purchased in increments of 20, 30
or 40 units. An expiration date was added to
create urgency and a strong call-to-action.
4. Awareness
To drive awareness, a total of three emails
(created in MailChimp) were sent over a 30 day
period to approximately 1,100 of his current
patients. Emails included a direct link to his
boutique e-commerce page where patients could
easily purchase special offers from any computer
or mobile device.
Dr. Cohen and his staff were extremely pleased
with both the functionality of the FACE:USA
platform and the results of their Xeomin
campaign.
Results at the conclusion of the 30 day period
included a significant reduction in Xeomin
inventory, 30 patient purchases, $6300 in
practice revenue and 15:1 ROI compared to the
cost of his monthly Premier subscription.
