The Client is a large conglomerate with a successful division in medical diagnostic and healthcare IT. The healthcare IT group wanted to expand its eHealth offering through acquisitions. One target company was being considered for its technology and existing customer base.
During the evaluation and negotiation period, the Client needed to confirm the validity of the claims made by the target company. This due-diligence process required an external party to assess the target company’s customer experience including satisfaction with the product and services.
SOLUTIONThe MarkeTech Group (TMTG) was asked to conduct a swift customer satisfaction study. While the customer was the acquiring company, The MarkeTech Group had to work with the target company to obtain their customer list and the necessary endorsement. The Group was also not to create problems within the customer base.
In a two week time frame, The MarkeTech Group designed a questionnaire, collected data from 50 sites, and compiled and interpreted the information. The acquiring company was re-assured in terms of product and customer satisfaction, and ended up completing the merger.
