2010 V8 Supercar Championship Series Points (after 17 of 26 races): 1. James Courtney -2101; 2. Jamie Whincup - 1922; 3. Mark Winterbottom - 1862; 4. Craig Lowndes - 1739; 5. Commodore of Todd Kelly, brought the#51 Castrol EDGE Commodore homein a strong 13th position, equaling theteams best result of the season thus far.

Murphy was relieved to nish the eventin one piece. The bodys ne and Imhappy and relieved about that, Ivecome through the race feeling good. Thebacks good and the legs ne, so theresno worries heading towards Bathurst.

Initially we didnt have a real fast pace

and struggled for track position. Therewere other cars going around at thesame speed. We never really got aheadin a lot of ways Murphy said.

Tim started the race and kept out of trouble he did a great job. His secondset of tyres appeared awful, we seem tohave struck that a lot this year. However he kept the car on the track when a lotof other guys would have been in thesalad. He hasnt been that comfortable

this weekend as the car wasnt that wellbehaved, but he never put a foot wrongall weekend. Without a doubt he has abig future.

While being happy with his ownperformance, and with that of his rookieco-driver, Murphy said they still neededto nd some pace. My stints wereconsistent, but we have to nd a better balance to look after the tyre and give usthe con dence to put in good laps when

they are at their best. But we also needto work on some tyre consistency over alonger distance. In my stint it felt like wedid reasonable laps, but they were stilla second or so off for a few laps that weneeded to make the difference.
