Goal
To become a reference node in the green and circular economy in
Catalonia. It provides knowledge and information, with the goal to
become a hub, where all the circular initiatives, public and private ones,
meet.

Functions
a) To gather, promote the exchange and provide a homogeneous
structure to existing initiatives in Catalonia and to claim new
ones.
b) To collect and to make information accessible on news, funding
calls
c) To raise awareness and facilitate training in relation to real
circular economy opportunities
d) To generate knowledge about the application of the circular
economy in Catalonia, identifying future trends and
collaborations
e) To evaluate progress through a monitoring scheme to evaluate
social and economic impact

▪ To guarantee a high quality standard.
▪ To assess proposals deriving from the Advisory Board.

▪ To decide on research areas regarding circular economy to be fostered
by the Observatory.
